It’s a pleasant town with some nice places to eat both in the town and down by the beach at Pirates beach bar. Once off the Main Street of Pilar it becomes less attractive.

The house was clean and had absolutely everything that we needed for our weeks stay. The fully equipped kitchen was more than adequate, the gas barbecue got plenty of use, the pool was a big hit with the adults and children and it all added up to a really good holiday. Well situated with homely feeling, I think it was more for a couple with kids. The beds in second bedroom where more fir children as couples in late 60’s they were very uncomfortable. Overall nice place to stay for a few days.
