Eagles Retreat, a 4000 SQ FT private retreat with over 1500 sq ft of wrap around wood deck and seating areas plys separate flagstone patio, with tables and chairs. Nestled among the beautiful Ponderosa Pines in Strawberry, north of Payson, Arizona. A short 1.5 hour drive from Phoenix, enjoy the peace and tranquility as your closest neighbor is the Tonto National Forest.

The thoughtful design of Eagles Retreat comfortably sleeps 28, with 5 private bedrooms, 3 full baths (master bath has a jacuzzi tub), a loft, family room with hide-a-beds, living room with hide- a- beds, wood-burning fireplaces in family room, electric fireplace in living room, and large cathedral-style windows, gorgeous decks and unbelievable views of the Ponderosa Pines. We even supply the firewood!!
With the modern, fully stocked kitchen, entertain your closest friends and family outside on the 315-degree wrap around wood deck, or on the natural flagstone patio by the beautiful fountain. Serve dinner in the dining room that seats 10 and a secondary table that seats 8.

It was a great place for our women's retreat. Spacious with plenty of sleeping Arrangements. The kitchen was excellent. Very much better equipped than most rental properties!! We really enjoyed the wrap around deck, the outdoor space, the elk and the hummingbirds!!

Our family of 12, which included adults and 4 grans (ages 9-15) stayed 3 nights and 4 days. We had the best time! Not only is the home beautiful but the surrounding area is breath taking. The wildlife which comes to visit several times a day was an added bonus. The home owner was so helpful, making sure we knew all the important information regarding directions to the home, ideas of what to bring, things to do and all the answers to FAQ. The home is not only fully furnished but the fact the panty is loaded with every kitchen item and spice you could ask for is so helpful. We will for sure be booking another trip as soon as possible.

Excellent Cabin

We had the BEST time. The cabin was GREAT! It was very roomy with space for all of us to play games, put together puzzles, and just hang out. The game room was amazing, the kids and adults loved it. Jeanay was very responsive to all the questions I had. Highly recommend this cabin!

Every detail of this luxury cabin has been thoughtfully designed to provide a five-star experience. The kitchen is one of the nicest and most well stocked kitchens I have ever used. Each bedroom was comfortable and welcoming. The view was amazing! The location was close to town.We cannot wait to come back!!

Amazing cabin, lots of Elk!

A great cabin for large groups, has every game imaginable, the elk come up right next the deck every day, we saw a bunch of them! Tons of rooms and beautiful scenery with the national forest just next to it. Highly recommend!!!

Great Place for a Family Retreat

Nana’s 60th birthday party weekend

We had a great time coming together to play games, eat and hang out for the weekend to celebrate. The playground and game room were hits for all ages. The amount of beds helped to ensure everyone’s comfort. A great family gathering place.

Amazing Stay

My family and I stayed at Eagles Retreat for a short birthday getaway for my oldest son. It was an amazing stay. The house is clean and beautiful and fully stocked with anything you would need, I thought the Christmas tree was a nice touch too! There is so much to do. My kids especially liked the game room and seeing the elk in the area. Jeanay was extremely communicative which was amazing and we had no issues with anything.

Pleasant Stay and We Saw Elk!

Loved sitting on the patio, enjoying the fresh, clean air! The elk were by both in the morning and in the early evening which made staying here very special! Jeanay is a wonderful host and was very quick to respond and was beautifully communicative whenever we reached out to her with questions. Keeping this place in mind for years from now when I have a family of my own to have reunions with, because this place would be GREAT for family reunions in my opinion!

We were all very excited couldn’t wait for our trip to Eagles Retreat since the time we booked. It did not disappoint!! It is a beautiful cabin and located in an amazing area with beautiful views of the mountains from the wrap around deck. There were plenty of activities for the kids and adults. What an excellent way to escape the daily grind and just relax!

This was our group's second visit to Eagle Retreat. The facility not only met all of our needs but is in a beautiful location. Communication with the owner was excellent. We had a question, and she responded immediately, and was extremely helpful. We will be returning in March. Love this place.

What a property!

A great spot to stay! Our extended fam had a great time. Great scenery, crazy amounts of wildlife VERY up close, totally OVER-stocked house with multiples of everything you could ever need, and a game room that was a big draw for everyone. We will be returning. Thanks!

Family reunion trip

I booked this trip to get my family together for a few days to celebrate some birthdays. When we arrived we were very impressed by the cabin. It was easy to check in, clean and more impressive than the pictures. My family enjoyed spending time in the spacious rooms but more than that they enjoyed watching the wildlife. The game room was a big hit with some of my family, and the kids enjoyed playing on the playground and around in nature. The check out process was just as easy.

Fun in the snow

My husband, I & a friend w a couple grandkids visited after a light snow. Kids sledded a bit & we had a blast throwing snowballs & building snowmen! Saw elk everyday & deer, plus javalinas w babies at night - because of auto lights :) plenty of room for a lot more ppl as we just used downstairs. Place is very compfortable & has anything you might need. We made some awesome memories. Thanks!
