Peaceful and quiet getaway!
We loved this cabin! It was just what we were looking for to get away for our anniversary! Being at the end of the road , we had gorgeous woods on one side that made sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch just so quiet and peaceful! The shopping was amazing and the food we ate in the many restaurants was delicious! We will definitely return!

Anniversary get away

A little piece of heaven...
Our week at Casa Cardinal was absolutely perfect. If you are looking for relaxation and still not far from all of the fun things to do in Pine Mountain/Callaway Gardens, then look no further. Kim was incredible to communicate with regarding our stay. Casa Cardinal is so clean & quaint and had everything we needed to make our week-long stay relaxing. I found myself sitting on the porch just listening and watching for wildlife - my idea of relaxation. It was close to everything we wanted to do: hiking, biking, swimming at the Liberty Bell Pool, exploring the little towns...it was just perfect! Thank you, Kim, for everything!

This place is like a slice of heaven! It is set among the beautiful trees of Georgia and is so peaceful. The cabin is just adorable and comfortable. You just don’t want to leave. The perfect place to just get away!

Secluded serenity
The property is tucked into the woods Just off a quiet paved road. The furnishings exceeded my expectations and I felt like I was staying in a friend's guest house. Butterflies were everywhere and the only sound I heard that didn't come from one of us was the birds chirping.

Cozy home close to Pine Mountain
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Cardinal. The house wasn't fancy, but was comfortable, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. The porch with its swing and rocking chairs was great. The house is adjacent to the Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park boundary, so there are no neighbors (other than wildlife) on two sides. And even though we had neighbors, we hardly noticed them and it was really quiet at night. Even though the house was off the beaten path, it was a stress-free 15-20 minute drive to FDR State Park activities, Callaway Gardens, Pine Mountain, and the Little White House in Warm Springs. We had thought about staying in accommodations at Callaway Gardens, but were definitely glad we chose to rent this home instead. In terms of things to do and natural beauty, the Pine Mountain area is underrated. If you're planning a trip to the area, Casa Cardinal is a great place to stay.

Cozy cabin in a fantastic location to the state park.
Our family and dog Sadie enjoy the large wrap porch. The cabin has excellent towels, blankets, and beds. There were plenty of cooking utensils, seasons, and cleaning supplies already left from various guests that made it a breeze to cook. Well worth the money and stay. We recommend this cabin for a stay in woods!

Beautiful cabin in the woods.
This cabin backs up to the property of FDR State Park. It is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We love the privacy but yet not to far from others. The property owner communicates very well if you have any questions or concerns. It is called Casa Cardinal for a reason we saw so many cardinals on our visit. You can sit on the beautiful wrap around porch and enjoy nature or you can visit FDR Park, Calloway Gardens, Animal Safari or one of the other nearby places. We will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at Casa Cardinal, and some friends joined us as planned. Communication with Kim was excellent, and we had no need to ask for or about anything once we arrived, as we had much information even before our arrival and the cabin was well-stocked with towels and dishes and kitchen tools. The cabin was just as pictured, and in my opinion the pictures are accurate but do not quite do the accommodations justice. The kitchen was quite well-equipped and has a very nice dishwasher and a large refrigerator. The dining table extends on two sides and could seat six, and we extended it to seat 4 very comfortably, and enjoyed many meals together. We enjoyed staying at the cabin in the cool autumn, with a comforting fire in the fireplace. The home was decorated for the season. There was a small amount of firewood on the lovely porch when we arrived, but if you want to have a fire in the fireplace plan to bring firewood just so you will have it there when you want to snuggle in. The heat and air adjustments available with the thermostat are quite good (our little group had quite diverse preferences). The stack wash and dryer worked quite well, and we used them. Three pods were provided for each of the dishwasher and stack washer. As I knew we would cook in the kitchen and use the dishwasher and clothes washer, I brought my own detergents for each, as well as some extra paper towels and toilet paper, and depending on your expected needs you might wish to do so as well. Oh, and we could have used one more garbage bag, though the amount provided was likely sufficient for most people for week-long stays. Please note that the short drive to the cabin from the main road is on a one-way road that has a hill and some curves. Also, the dining area is elevated slightly from the rest of the floor, and the downstairs bedroom has small elevation changes to navigate as well. If you bring groceries and firewood, you will be all set! All in all, this hostess and the accommodations met and exceeded all my expectations. I would like to return again and again, as I enjoyed my autumn stay at Casa Cardinal, and in this area, so very much. It was a Get-Away Wish Come True.

Cute and Cozy Cabin w/ Great Location
If you're on the fence about booking this cabin- DO IT! Tucked in the woods at the end of a hilly street, with a wrap around porch, my husband and I enjoyed watching the leaves fall and the birds come and go. The linens, floors, and furniture were all clean. The shower heats quickly, which you don't always find when tucked away in the woods. The owner has plenty of board games and books to play/read. Owner also provided a few laundry pods so you don't come back from vacation needing to do clothes. The cabin was a short, 10 minute, drive from downtown Pine Mountain where you will find your grocery store, shopping, and a few restaurants. We stopped at Callaway Gardens, also about 10-15 minutes away from the cabin. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this is the place to go.

My family spend 4 days in warm springs, with 2 days our running around the area and 2 very peaceful days at the cabin. The cabin felt very homey, comfortable, not to mention how quite and beautiful the cabins location.

Cozy cabin -- our perfect peaceful retreat
What a gorgeous retreat into nature and peace! We absolutely loved the cabin, its setting, and all of the comforts of home. The wooded lot is so relaxing and rejuvenating -- we loved the cool shade during the hot summer days. And the views from the rocking chair, wrap-around porch are so gorgeous -- perfect for morning coffee or evening dessert. The inside of the cabin offers everything you need for a cozy and complete stay in Pine Mountain. From the snug beds to the comfy couch to the fully equipped kitchen, we had a wonderfully delightful and pleasurable time. The cabin is clean, stocked with essentials, and exactly as described on the listing. Close to Callaway Gardens, we enjoyed Pine Mountain and all it has to offer. Callaway Gardens itself was entertaining, but the little shops in Pine Mountain were so charming. We found a perfect dining spot at Eatz, where we got takeout for a picnic. But the best of the best was our host, Kim. She took extraordinary care in our stay and was highly communicative. We appreciated from the bottom of our hearts her hospitality, friendliness, and warmth. If ever there was an award for hosts, Kim would be the winner.
