" Our family of 4 and a dog stayed the memorial day weekend in Opal Sands and we loved everything they offered. The pool overlooking the beach was beautiful and my girl even spotted a dolphin from the pool. All the food and beverages we ordered from the restaurant and bar were great with reasonable price. The room we stayed was in good condition overall and I especially liked the wooden floor. There was a construction site in the hotel but it was limited to the corner of the ground floor and did not bother at all. The option of walking to and from the beach was the best part as it was clean and safe to play there until dark. "

"I liked how friendly and helpful the staff is. The atmosphere is upbeat. It is clear the staffs' goal is to ensure the guests have a good time. The pool and outside of the property were exceptionally clean and cared for. At first glance, the room looked great, but looking closely you can see the bathroom is very worn and the corners of the floor need attention. My one complaint would be that nothing opens until 7 am. I am a very early riser and had to leave the property for coffee everyday. You do provide coffee and voffee makers, but i didn't have enough cream."
