Pinetop–Lakeside is a town in Navajo County, Arizona, United States. According to 2020 census, the population of the town is 4,557. It was founded in 1984 when the neighboring towns of Pinetop and Lakeside merged. Pinetop–Lakeside is a popular summer resort and second-home area for Arizona desert residents.

Excellent Stay

We had a excellent stay at the Rustic Retreat! Helen and Tony were excellent hosts! They were so friendly and welcoming! They met us with the keys and answered all our questions. The house is very cute and clean! Well decorated and stocked with all you need! Green and Tony even left us fresh fruit, water bottles and snacks! The furniture and beds were comfortable (a big plus for us!). The location is also great— SkyHi is outside of Pinetop but still close enough to get to town quickly. We heard elk bugling from the house our first night!! Even though the house isn’t directly in the trees itself it is surrounded on all four sides of the community. The view from the back deck is fabulous! We loved the three umbrellas, table and chairs (standard chairs and reclining deck chairs!) and grill out there. We also loved the three hummingbird feeders and swing on the front porch! We hope to be back soon!
