"This was one of the best properties we’ve ever stayed in! The barn is one giant room but is very comfortable and family friendly. My kids loved the basketball goal inside and we loved the giant couch to pile up on and watch a movie. We walked to the ponds and loved the swings! Our pup also loved running in the giant field! I cannot adequately explain the uniqueness of the barn and how much we loved our stay. We will definitely stay again!! "

"The host was very responsive during booking and upon arrival. I had an issue with A/C and he addressed it quickly. However…..There are a bunch of little things that detract from the experience of the stay:* No chest of drawers. * Scuffed walls and baseboards that need paint * A VERY RUSTY shower curtain (C’monnnnn…!)* Used dry cleaner hangars* Towels that have seen better days* A COMPLETELY FILTHY mattress cover!I think all this can be achieved for /- 500. Do that and you’ll get your 5-Star rating…"

"Unit is in need of repairs and updates. Kitchen sink faucet falling off. Dryer does not work, lack of eating utensils, bathroom tub just worn out. Kitchen drawers barely open. We had gun shots outside the unit the first night we were there."

"Older property a bit run down. Biggest problem is the smell when opening the front door. Couch has stains and perhaps is part of the smell reason. King bed was good. Remote for bedroom is broken without batteries. Quiet area and very convenient for downtown Alexandria."
