Special shout out to the delightful and charming Katerina. Officially the 'cleaner' but she basically ran the place. She was always on the go and nothing was too much trouble for her. "Not in Hersonissos but located in a village a good 30 minute steep downhill walk from Hersonissos. The walk back impossible for my partner who has a heart condition and required taxis at 7 eu per one way journey. The dining area pictured on the site was in fact derelict and the pool a smelly eyesore.The balcony overlooked the stagnant pool and derelict bar area. The standard of cleanliness and facilities were apalling. See photographs of bathroom and kitchen facilities which were dirty, rusty...

"Stelva Hotel est un ensemble vieillissant où malgré la gentillesse et la bonne volonté des femmes de chambre,la propreté n'est pas au rendez-vous.De plus vous avez la "chance" d être à côté du système de filtration de la piscine vous aurez droit à un ronronnement quasi continu et au reveil le matin vers 8h par le patron qui remet la machine en route pour la journée soit parce qu'il claque la porte soit parce qu'il parle fort. "Das Zimmer ist relativ klein und schlicht eingerichtet. Das Bett ist aber gemütlich und vom Balkon hat man einen herrlichen Ausblick auf Hersonissos und aufs Meer. Die Küchenzeile ist genau für zwei: zwei Teller, zwei Löffel, etc. Für Köche im Urlaub nicht unbedingt empfehlenswert, aber zum Frühstücken reicht es! Insgesamt kann ich Kokkinakis allen weiterempfehlen, die Wert auf den Preis legen und denen trotzdem an nichts fehlen darf :)"
