Great change for holidays
My family and I very much enjoyed our stay. The house is clean and nicely decorated. Travis was helpful and quickly responded to any questions. Great to have the bikes. I put several miles on the pink cruiser. Would stay here again.

Very nice place, easy check in and check out. Great location.
We had a great time, very nice place. Worked out great for our young family. My parents stayed with us to help babysit for us and there was plenty of room for both couple and our one and half year old. We did forget a few things and was able to Instacart without issues. Would definitely stay again the next time we are in the area.

Serenity Now!
An amazing experience and wonderful property. Travis is an amazing host - very communicable - courteous- thoughtful - and generous. He made us feel so very welcomed and we are grateful. My wife and I got married close by at Chapman Estate and had reception at Dolphin Bay. This is the very best location in Shell Beach; away from the major crowds of Pismo and within walking distance to anything needed… Local Restaurants/Bars/Shopping! Beach/Park/walking trails/Pickleball Courts couple miles north on Shell Beach Road! The owners gave us a special and very thoughtful gift as they knew we were getting married. So very kind. The home is immaculate with all the amenities anyone from children to teens to adults; would need. Board Games/Beach Cruisers/ Well appointed and stocked Kitchen/ Linens /Towels / Washer and Dryer / High Speed Internet. Thank you again!

Clean home in great location
Quiet neighborhood close to beaches. Quick and easy access to Pismo, Shell Beach, Avila, San Luis Obispo, and beyond. Friendly people everywhere we went, including the neighborhood when we walked to the beach and staff at local shops and eateries. A fun bonus is the Chapman Estate at the end of the street at the water's edge. The house is clean and well-appointed for cooking at home. Great stay for our family -- our second in this home.

Stayed here 3 weeks in May. House is very clean and fully equipped with everything you need to explore the area and enjoy the beach. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again.

Think twice before booking this one....
My husband, me and our 3 adult children rented this house for a week over Thanksgving....when we arrived the smoke alarm was going off, so we had to call the owner to find out where he kept batteries and where he had a ladder. Next we discovered, all the TVs were not functioning. We texted the owner and he had the cable company reset the boxes; finally all but one worked. Next, come to find out the microwave and dishwasher didn't work; it became apparant that nobody had checked this house prior to our arrival. Travis did admit he hadn't been there since September. I was shocked at this when he knew he had a rented week out for Thanksgiving. For the amount of money we were charged, somebody should have checked appliances and general house condition before we arrived. Needless to say without a functioning dishwasher and microwave, we spent more time in the kitchen than we wanted. I was extremely disappointed. I never would have rented this house had I known all the problems. Travis pretty responsive to my phone calls/texts, but he doesn't maintain the property well enough to rent this otherwise gorgeous house out to the public. I caution you to stay somewhere else.

We want all our guest to have the best stay possible and do our best to make sure the house is clean and everything is in good working condition. Sometimes things break at the same time and this was one of those times. We felt terrible about it and issued a $425 refund for the inconvenience after discussing it with the renter. The cable and internet in the area goes out from time to time or after a while with no use they need to be refreshed. We respond asap to any call or email from our guest and do everything we can to fix the issue or make it right with the renter. As you can see from our other reviews the house is always clean and in great shape and even comes with some extras. We bought a new dishwasher and microwave !!

The house was clean, spacious and ready for our stay.
We enjoyed our stay for our 30 year sorority weekend reunion. The house was plenty big and spacious for our group of women. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining room was roomy enough for us all to gather and share stories and photos. The location was perfect to go for a neighborhood walk to the ocean, a quick drive to Pismo Beach or San Luis Obispo. Trevor was readily available via email or phone quite easily regarding information to get into the house & checking out. My only negative comment would be to have more towels and toilet paper but that was easily remedied. We enjoyed our stay and the house was clean & comfortable. One of the women who stayed took the address and information to bring her family on vacation next year. I'd say that's the ultimate compliment.

Very nice very spacious very clean
My family vacations every year to Pismo or Avila. Found this very nice spacious and clean home. Fit all 8 of us very comfortably. The rooms were all very roomy and comfortable and the kitchen was very functional. The washer and dryer were a great help as well. The French doors weren't working very well but the owner indicated they were being fixed soon. The master bath on the second level was super nice and spacious but the full bath downstairs was very tight but worked out fine. The view at the end of the street was very pretty and peaceful. We would stay here again.

Nicely equipped home with bicycles in Shell Beach close to Pismo and SLO.
Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean home in Shell Beach and the owner checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. It worked great for our party as we used it as our base for sightseeing to Pismo and Avila beaches and for the Wedding events that we attended in San Luis Obispo and Santa Margarita Ranch. The neighborhood is quant and full of locals and there are restaurants and cafes within walking distance and a small grocery store that has the essentials that you may have forgotten too. The kitchen and dining room made it easy for us to prepare meals and hang out at the same time and the double shower in the upstairs master bedroom was great! In the garage, you will find beach cruiser bicycles to ride around the neighborhood and even to the beach which is only a couple hundred feet away. When we come back to this area we will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home
Our family stayed here for a week in June and had a great time. The home was very clean and well-equipped for a family with teens. The rooms are all spacious and beautifully decorated, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals at home when we wanted to. The street was quiet yet close to the 101, Shell Beach, Pismo and a short drive to SLO. We recommend walking down the street to the beach then turning north for an amazing neighborhood walk past a beautiful estate at the water's edge, complete with windmill, statuary, the most enchanting tree-covered views. Travis was easy to work with and responded within minutes whenever we contacted him. We will visit the area again and will contact Travis to see if this home is available. A bonus for this home: one bedroom and adjoining bathroom are on the main level, accessible without stairs. A plus for elderly or people with mobility issues.

Super Time at 'Serenity' Beach House
Our family and friends had a marvelous week at Shell beach while staying in the Serenity property. The house has a great layout for entertaining and just relaxing. The house was clean, well furnished and has a great location? The only suggestion I could offer would be to leave a bit more TP for your newly, arriving guests. Great Time.

Great holiday getaway!
Our family of 8 (4 adults, 4 teenagers) celebrated Christmas at Serenity Now and had a great time! The house is in excellent condition, very well appointed, and roomy enough for 8 people (with 2 huge master bedrooms.) The location is within walking distance to a cozy coffee shop, great restaurants, a family park, and a very short walk to a gorgeous ocean view. We enjoyed many sunset strolls along the bluff. Travis is super responsive and very accommodating. We hope to stay here again!

Awesome home!
We stayed at Travis's beach home over presidents weekend. We are 3 families with 6 adults and 4 toddlers. The place bigger and better than the pictures, which is a pleasant surprise. The house was very clean and has everything we need. Short drive to Pismo beach. Very quiet as the road dead ends to a cliff by the beach where you can watch sunset. Travis is very responsive and helpful. would definitely come back again in the future.

Another wonderful stay
This was our second time staying at Serenity Now. Travis is super responsive and made it very easy for us to book our trip at the last minute. The house is very clean, has great amenities, and is just a short stroll to the beach. We stayed here last summer with family and had such a great time we decided to go back right after Christmas. Fun time!
My girlfriends and I came down from No. Cal to have a fun birthday weekend. We had 6 girls and it was the perfect set up for us. The house was close in proximity to everything we wanted to do..Dunes, wine tasting, Solvang, SLO...etc. The house was clean, modern, and had all the amenities we needed for our weekend stay. Travis was friendly, accommodating, and responsive. Thank you for making our trip easy and we would love to stay at this location again.

A great experience
We stayed here, 2 families, 8 total. The house is very nice, updated with high quality amenities. Lots of room so that when the families needed their own space that was really easy to do and then the family room is large enough to accommodate us if we wanted to hang out or watch TV on a big TV. The area is beautiful with so much great scenery to look at. Travis was so easy to work with which made everything that much more enjoyable. I hope to come back someday.

Family Vacation
My family and I very much enjoyed our stay here. The house was perfect for our needs and very serene. Great place to relax. There is so much to do within a walking distance. You can walk, ride a bike or drive to Pismo Beach all ways are great. We plan to come back next year and do it all over again. The house comes equipped with all that you need for the beach which was a plus. Travis was great. Very responsive and easy to work with. I would recommend this house to large families and anyone looking for a great beach getaway.

Great Beach House
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The home has 2 master bedrooms in addition to 2 standard bedrooms. 1 master is downstairs and 1 upstairs. This was perfect for us and gave us plenty of privacy. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook and have coffee in the morning. Great granite counters and very modern. Our kids loved riding the bikes the owner provides and playing pool in the garage. Every bedroom has its own flat screened t.v. and there is a huge flat screen t.v. in the living room. I also enjoyed sun tanning on the private balcony off the upstairs living room. There is a great gas BBQ that we cooked tri tip on a few times. There are plenty of terrific restaurants in the area too. Alex's BBQ up at the corner YUM! I would definatley stay here again. The owner is easy to get in touch with and very knowledgeable of the area. I found it a pleasure to work with him.

Cozy Home Away From Home
Came here with family and friends and they all just loved the house. Very beautiful and well kept. 6 people slept here very comfortably. The upstairs area with the TV is a great place for everyone to spend some time together. The bikes were great for riding around the area. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

Wonderful time in Shell Beach
We rented this property as part of our family vacation in Shell Beach. It was just perfect. The house was spacious and so well kept up. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the ocean. The house is just as you see it in the pictures, and so clean. We had a fabulous time, and would definitely rent this house again. PS....Thanks for the bikes. We did the Bob Jones Trail several times!

Perfect beach house
We recently had four couples stay at this house for a wedding. We loved the house! It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. We were sad that we didn't have more time to stay at the house and enjoy all of the great amenities: bikes, boogie boards, fishing poles, etc.

Fabulous Family R&R By The Ocean
This Beautiful Home was an excellent venue to celebrate our daughter's college graduation as well as a relaxing visit with family and friends. Grandpa and our grown children enjoyed riding bicycles to the beach as well as playing pool in the garage while hubby barbecued a nice meal. The home was nicely furnished and the kitchen had everything needed. We enjoyed the sitting on the front patio...will definitely recommend this to friends. The owner was very helpful. Thank you.

Great house and great location! Everything in the house is new and clean. There was plenty of room for everyone and and the master suites are really nice! The location is perfect too! The bikes made it so easy to cruise down to the beach or go grab coffee in the morning at one of the restaurants close by. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house!
We found this house for a reunion with friends and family. Easy drive from the Bay Area and OC area. It was a perfect location - quick access to SLO, Pismo Beach and Avila Beach. The owner, Travis was quick replying to my questions and concerns. The bikes and the beach toys were a great resource! The house was just a couple blocks from the ocean with amazing views, tidepools and seals.Would highly recommend this beach house! We had a great time!

Great House!
We had a wonderful time at Travis's well designed, decorated house in Shell Beach. Every single detail was thought out and we did not need to make a run for anything at all! We enjoyed the movies, the short walk to the water, rode bikes (plenty in the garage) and checked out NetFlix movies as well as the nice collection of DVDs. The kids loved how quiet the street was and could ride bikes with minimal supervision. The park was closeby and so was Zorros (Great mexican joint). All in all, great location, amenities and great communication from the owners. We'd go here again, in a heartbeat!

Great Vacation House
We had a great stay. The home was great, better than the pictures even. It was new and modern with two master suites which was perfect for two families. The house is in a great beach town with good restaurants within walking distance. The owner was very helpful, hospitable and responsive. We walked to the tide pools, rode the beach cruisers around and took the kids fishing with the fishing poles at the house. We have done VRBO many times and I would definitely recommend this rental.

"Serenity Now" Spacious Beach Home - Feb. 2011
We had a wonderful family reunion here traveling from Princeton and Los Angeles. I'm so happy we found this place making our travel to Shell Beach worth the long flight and car trip. This is a dream showcase home with a fully equipped kitchen and large dining area. There are two large master suites and all bedrooms assure privacy for all parties. Lots of vacation details were tended to by the owners in the area of recreation, i.e., home movies, Netflix, board and card games, fishing, biking, playing in the sand. There are restaurants even San Luis Obispo locals rave about right in Shell Beach like Marisol and Ventana Grill. This home is more beautiful than the pictures. It is minutes from Morro Bay, Avila and Pismo Beaches, and even San Luis Obispo wineries. Many kudos to the owners of this property!

Wonderful New Years Weekend
My family spent New Years weekend at this home with another family. It is the perfect size and layout for 2 families. It has 2 master bedrooms each with their own bath, plus 2 other bedrooms and bathrooms for the kids. The house is immaculate and lovely. The kitchen is well stocked and the movie collection is awesome! The house is one block from the beach and a few blocks from the park. The kids took advantage of the bikes in the garage and spent lots of time biking into town and to the park. We had a wonderful trip and are looking forward to our return to Shell Beach. I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the Pismo Beach area.
