"Everyone was so kind, and really seemed happy that we were there. This part of the island has a lot of personality, from the animals walking around the resort to the ocean walking distance away to the staff making you feel like apart of the family! Pool side bar was a wonderful place to wind down before we flew out and the most amazing food!"

"The parking was an extra, I didnt have a car on this trip. Air conditioning gets a excelente review, all 3 of them worked, and it made the studio so comfortable. They need improvement on the check in, and checkuts, i felt like i was working for the owner. I had at least 3 check in that didnt know were there room or studio was located. I had to communicate with the owner, or persons in charge, in finding instructions needed to help out the families. House keeping was a no show, again I didnt know there schedule or even know if when they were supposed to do her room routine. Beside all that it was a great place to stay. Will come back and rent a studio in a heartbeat. "

"We had a great stay at Aquatika. Three adults and two kids meant that there was tons of room to stretch out and relax across the two full bathrooms and three bedrooms. Good wifi. Lots of towels and nice (but random) toiletries. Sunburn lotion was especially appreciated. The well-appointed full kitchen meant that we could cook any meals we wanted - I fried up 25 raw arepas I got from a great home kitchen around Luquillo that we ate for days. The lanai was really nice and ours had retractable awnings. The waterpark and beach were clean and well maintained and the kids and us adults alike enjoyed them a lot. The little concession stand near the beach was nice. Great birding spot!!! Minor negatives: there was a miscommunication that resulted in it taking half an hour to get through the guardhouse when first checking in. There seemed to be a lot of drama around the guardhouse in general, some other family checking in caused a long wait at the guardhouse another night, and somebody actually smashed through the gate later that night. There were ghost ants around the kitchen counter so we had to be careful about cleaning up and sealing our food containers. This is normal for the area. There was a lot of rust around the kitchen cabinets, presumably from the power outages following Maria. Didn’t bother me but I could imagine some complaining. We lost power for one night but the whole municipality did. All in all it was a fantastic stay and I look forward to coming back!"

"Super cute and quiet ocean view hotel. The sound of the waves was very relaxing and the pool was well maintained. The property could use a little updating, but overall it was nice and very clean. It was very convenient to the Luquillo kiosks and beaches."

"No hot water, no person to talk to at check in, ants all over the bathroom and kitchen. Wouldn’t recommend "
