Clean hotel with friendly staff

The hotel is conveniently located not too far from the two highways I-76 and I-79 with a short drive to all shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless clean. The refrigerator and the small kitchen with cooking utensils are very useful to make coffee or cook a simple breakfast. Will definitely return.

Modern, comfortable hotel

This hotel was modern, clean, and comfortable. Our room was spacious and the bathroom kept up well. The cost was very reasonable. Small but nice pool but the pool water was cold. It was hard to get to this hotel from the highway.

The staff was wonderful and attentive, courteous and friendly. The property is well maintained. The only suggestion I would make is to get rid of the carpeting in the rooms. Being allergic to dust, no matter how well you clean carpets, they always bring out the itchiness. Carpet aside, it was all good.

We have been trying to find a hotel that is reasonably priced as well as having the other important commodities when traveling. This hotel takes the cake for everything: cleanliness, friendly staff, quiet space, convenience to everything needed in regards to dining, shopping, etc and the in-room items provided. We had a nice sized fridge/freezer combo, kitchen sink, microwave, coffee maker and a garbage disposal. They provided Dive shampoo, conditioner and body wash in nice sized refillable squirt bottles located on the shower wall, which was a nice bonus. The mattress, sheets and pillows were comfortable for the two of us. We will definitely be sticking to this place for our short term getaways!

Not as Good as Past Stays

Madison was amazing and made us feel welcome immediately. She was very engaged and very attentive; cannot say enough nice things about our interactions with her. However the next day we had to wait with no one answering the front desk as we didn't have enough bath towels for everyone in our room. When the person finally responded he was on the phone. Each day there was a new bag of trash in the stairwell but nobody would actually take the trash outside so it started to smell and made it difficult to walk in the stairs to exit onto your floor. Was disappointed as it was not as nice as previous stays.

I booked Candlewood Suites for my parents for an overnight stay after my dad had his cataract surgery. They live 90 minutes away from the physician's office so a stay was needed for his follow up appointment early the next morning. When making the reservation, I called the hotel and spoke with Greg to see if it was possible to get an early check-in for them due to the circumstances. Greg was very helpful and was able to accommodate this request. He asked for my parents name too make a note of it and he greeted them when they arrived for check-in. I greatly appreciate the customer service that was provided for my parents when they needed it. My parents enjoyed their stay there and said they would definitely stay there again.
