  • Looking forward to hosting you in our charming home located in a hidden gem of a neighborhood on Pittsburgh's North Side.

    This house is perfectly located... literally 5-10 minutes from the Stadiums, Ball Park, Arena, Convention Center, Theatres, Museums and right up the hill from the Strip District (6 mins to the original Primanti Brothers!). The house sits on a corner lot adjacent to a green space for you to also enjoy. It has both on and off street parking and both are completely free. We know you will enjoy this newly renovated home with all the comforts you need to have an amazing stay.

    The house was built in 1927 and has gone through extensive renovations that revealed large portions of the homes original character while providing the opportunity to update the amenities to more modern times.

    Lots of cool discoveries in the renovation that include exposing hidden chimney's that were used for wood burning stove and heat sources. The discovery and refinishing of the original hardwood floors throughout the home. There was just something about the craftmanship from those times that left us completely in love with this home along with such rich history of the neighborhood and the surrounding areas.

    We hope to host you in our home and would love for you to cherish it and treat it as your own!

Nice older home, freshly updated with everything you need for a family stay. Quiet neighborhood and the off street parking was nice. Like most places in Pittsburgh, driving thru the neighborhood to get to the property is a unique experience that makes you happy to have GPS.

We LOVED how many beds this property had. There was plenty of room and a great kitchen. The location was great. The only drawback was the surrounding neighborhood was not as well kept, however we never felt unsafe walking anywhere. As advertised, would recommend.

Enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday in the home with our adult children. We gave the kitchen a workout, which was well-equipped to prepare and serve a family meal. A great home with lots of PGH charm

The house is beautiful, plenty of room, and close to lots of Pittsburgh fun. It is very easy to get in touch with the property owner and he is quick to respond. My family enjoyed a Steelers game and then the comfort of coming “home” for a spaghetti dinner. Put this house on your list if you are coming into Steel City!

Plenty of space and close to downtown

We took up every bed in the house and felt like we had plenty of space. It was a short drive from most of downtown Pittsburgh and the traffic never got crazy. The steep roads took a little getting used to, but it was a very convenient location. Small park next door was great for the kids. Foosball table in basement a hit too. Had a great few days.

Quiet, clean, well maintained. House on the corner has lots of natural light. Responsive owner. Lots of character to the house, lots of character and a good renovation. Great family getaway!

The house was a perfect fit for two families with young children! Everything was clean and appeared newly renovated as shown in the pictures. It was stocked with just about everything we could have needed, which was much appreciated since we all traveled from out of state with limited car space. The location was great, close enough to reach all the activities/spots that we wanted to easily while feeling tucked away in the neighborhood. The front porch was a lovely spot for the adults to decompress after busy days, and the kids highly enjoyed the basement foosball, the backyard space, and the board/card games available to play. The hosts were proactive in making sure everything went well and easy to reach. We would certainly stay again!

Perfect space and location

I only have the best things to stay! My wife and I stayed here with two of our close friends when we came into town for a concert. We loved hanging in the living room at night, beds were all so comfy, everything was so clean, and the snacks/ coffee were such a great touch! The hosts were easily accessible when we had questions and even offered for us to check out a bit later to enjoy more time! We felt safe and secure during the day and at night. It was very easy to find and a short drive or Uber/Lyft to anywhere downtown! One of our friends actually booked the house for her daughter’s graduation before we even left. We will absolutely be back again!

A True Gem In The Steel City

In returning to an annual ritual of my brother and I attending a Steelers game for the first time since 2019 I was surprised by how many quality offerings had been lost in the city. This was our fourth trip and this property was the best! Not only was the property meticulously and painstakingly renovated but the owners John and April were absolutely far and away the best. In a time where everyone seems to be willing to compromise on their customer service and customers grudgingly accept less and less, this couple rises above and beyond. Attentive, proactive and highly personable. I'm probably what one would consider an average VRBO user (3-4 times annually), this is by far the best experience I've had. I hope that we have an opportunity to visit again and avail ourselves the the top shelf accommodations and customer service.

Lovely house adjacent to a little park in an off-the-beaten-path quiet neighborhood. The house has lots of wood detail and character and is gorgeously furnished. The hosts were very attentive.
