Home away from home

Very nice place to stay. All the comforts of home and very clean. Close to all of the Pittsburgh activities. Back patio was very comfortable. I am sure a small fire in the fall would be on a crisp night would be great.

Superb location for visiting Pittsburgh

My family and I (4 adults) stayed at this lovely, well-maintained home to see a concert at the Oaks Theatre. Dawn, our gracious host not only met us at the property to give us a personal tour, but also stayed in constant contact throughout our stay which is always a plus! Each of the two rooms we stayed in were spacious with plenty of room for our belongings, a large flatscreen TV, and a comfy bed! I thoroughly enjoyed the proximity to Pittsburgh and the screened-in porch just off the kitchen area to reconnect with nature and enjoy a morning cup of Joe! We plan to visit Pittsburgh in the summer to see a baseball game at PNC and hope to be able to stay here again! Thank you again, Dawn, for opening your home to us weary travelers! - Jerry

This house was conveniently located because it was on the way to the start of our Great Alleghany Passage bike ride in Pittsburgh.Dawn communicated with us everything we needed to know and was an exceptional host. The house was clean and our sleeping accommodations were perfect. There was a small discrepancy with the Vrbo pricing for extra guests that we discussed in advance and agreed to pay for, so it is recommended that you discuss this at the time of booking this property to avoid any surprises. Even with the added cost, the price for this property in this area could not be beat!I highly recommend reserving this Vrbo property.

The host was extremely welcoming and felt like a long-time friend when we were done talking as she told us about the house. What a truly wonderful person with an incredible family. The house was very easy to find and was a quiet oasis that we were able to return to during a very busy couple of days. The plants were beautiful and the setup was very welcoming.
