"Our stay at Honu was awesome. The location was perfect. It was a little outside of Placencia and Maya Beach which was great. Quiet area right on the beach. The pool was awesome to have. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you needed. Check-in was really easy. Someone met us there on the day and let us in and showed us around. Could ask for a better ending to our trip"

"We loved every moment spent at Driftwood Gardens. It was hard to find as the signage is not obvious from the road, but either than that we had zero issues. The unit had every detail we could want from kitchen utencils to bathroom needs. The owners were friendly and gracious. We will be back one day!"

"What a great vacation rental, exactly as described , well equipped for a few days or a month rental. Proximity to the beach, supermarket/liquor store and Placencia beach club make this a fantastic find. The pictures don’t do it justice……. The hammocks, floaties, beach towels make this a great base in Placencia Village. Mae was very communicative and provided a detailed and accurate orientation package , with easy checkin and great directions , with numerous recommendations for local eats ....

"Enjoyed the privacy and view from the studio. The breeze made sleeping and relaxing very enjoyable. Appreciated the paddle board and kayak. The summary of itineraries in the blue folder helped us considerably. We enjoyed our tour to Red Bank (Raul) to see the Scarlet McCaws. Went to the Cockscomb Sanctuary and floated the river and hiked to the waterfall. Ate at recommended restaurants. All in all it was a fabulous 8 days. Enjoyed every guest that stayed at the house too. Everyone was personable...

"We had 10 friends for a birthday gathering and these units were perfect. The two units are connected by balcony and can sleep 12 people. Having two kitchens was perfect! The host met us at checkin and gave us a run down of facility and the best places to eat. We were about 7 miles from downtown Placencia so the resort was nice and quiet. The pool was perfect as well as swimming off the private dock. Beach was well manicured with corn hole and volleyball. Kayaks and bikes were available for use....

"This property was better than I anticipated. AC worked wonderfully and had a ceiling fan if you prefer outside air. It was clean and had everything you would expect for a hotel in the states for those of us who are used to such amenities as a coffee maker, with all the accoutrements. A small fridge and plenty is space to unpack for an extended stay. Close to the beach, shops and great places to eat and enjoy night life! "What an amazing place right on the beach. We were the only ones stay at the beach property. Loved the lounge chairs, hammock, kayaks. Had communication problems with the property manager at times. No one around upon arrival and no instructions for wifi and TV. He did make arrangements for private snorkeling and fishing tours. The place does not have a hot tub as listed in amenities. The location is ideal at the quiet end of the sidewalk."

"Very unique location for a home to rent. Almost all others in the area is hotels. On the boardwalk and walkable to a lot of restaurants and bars. Keyless entry, that manually locks. Furniture was not clean. Shower burning hot, but there is an outdoor shower. "
