Weekend Wedding Getaway

We stayed at this lovely property while we were attending my nephew's wedding. It was exactly as described. The King bed is the most comfortable I have slept in away from home. The location is quiet and there is a beautiful wrap around back patio that is a restful place to eat breakfast. Well priced and worth every penny!

Placerville Getaway

This is a very nice house, comfortable and well appointed. It has a large deck with a pretty view. It is very pet friendly, but note the back yard is down stairs and shared and the front yard opens onto a road. There isn’t a lot of traffic but you can’t just let the dog outside. The hosts are responsive, helpful, and friendly.

Going to Grandma's house

Over the hills and through the woods to Grandmother's house we go... or so to speak. We went to visit our children. Both couples met us at this wonderful little home that reminded us all of Grandma's house. It is super cute and even had a Christmas tree that was decorated beautifully. The cute faux fireplace looked real and even had the crackling sound of a real fire - we loved it! Such a charming place. The beds weren't anything to rave about. Husband slept in the master and said it was okay, not bad. I had to sleep in a bed closer to the floor since i was on crutches and it was too small for the both of us to sleep comfortably - thats why separate beds. TMI? It was not the best matress, but i slept fine. Looking at the address on Google Earth scared us, but don't worry, the neighborhood is safe and clean. Its much better in person. It's close to downtown Placerville which is our favorite town. My husband walked the dog to town. The back porch is awesome! The back yard is huge. The kitchen has everything you need. We would definitely stay here again, we were very comfortable and happy there.
