The shower was really nice! You can tell it's an older hotel, but they've definitely put a lot of work into updating things.

The people there were very friendly and i felt like they were happy we were there. Wish the mattress was more comfortable but i have disabilities though that make me a little pickier.

Great stay! We wanted an affordable place to stay after having a full day at apple hill and this place delivered. It was clean, comfortable and straight forward. The check in is at the motel next to it but it was super easy and literally right next door. Would recommend to friends!

Woman who checked us in was very polite. She even called us the next day after check out because we left our house keys in the room. I think we stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms which was clean, and comfortable. We come every year mid october. We will be back.

Unfortunately we had to leave because the overwhelming scent of the cleaner/disinfectant that they used was making me feel sick. They claimed was using what they had to for the regulations, however they were using way to much...Ive stayed in motels before and after this and none smelled like this. Including the one we ended up staying at instead of. The room wasn't vacuumed good and there were crumbs in the entry. The curtain was broken and as I tried to move it I found the backside covered in dust and grime. The pillows were so wrinkly they looked like someone slept on them...its cheap,..for a reason.

It's not cheap from our side, First you said mold on curtain, then you back off from that when i asked you how mold can be on cutain and show me? Then you started with some one has used this room. And i asked you that if someone has used this room then show me hair on pillow? we house keepar that she did clean and camara on side, What you have as a proof ? Your story keep changing Sierra. You can not even keepit up .

First the owner I believe was awesome . Friendly curtious and engaging. Would stay again if in the area. Units need updating and looks to be what is happening. Inconvenient to have to check in at upper facility, however with the terrible fires and changes the owners have had to go through in this area I understand we need to give them support.

We were worried it would be loud because it's close to the highway but we were pleasantly pleased that when we closed the door to our room it was very quiet. It's a simple little place but it was very clean and quiet. We would recommend this motel.

My reservation was at Mother Lode, but when I tried to check in, the office was closed and a note to call a number for assistance. The number was to another hotel up the road. I went there, had no choice but to check in. Rooms smelled so bad, electrical outlets in bathroom didn't work, no wi-fi, hardly any TV channels and no pool. Switch and bait!!

The hotel owners were ok. Housekeeping staff is very sweet. My room was still under construction and was pained a horrible color of orange. The bed was unbelievably awful.

The only good thing about this property is that there is a large grassy area for my dog to go potty. They (both the hotel and EXPEDIA should tell you that there is not just a $50 dog deposit but also it costs an additional $25 per day! Ridiculous! For $500 for 3 nights I could have stayed in a nicer location and hotel! The seals around the room door were not there, we could hear everything and feel the cold air coming in, there were ants all over the bathroom... when I told the manager, she left me a can of ant and roach spray! The beds were super soft and lumpy and the AC blew cool air, not cold at all, luckily the nights were still pretty cool there.

Hello. All three night you stay you never came to office to address us your any of this issue? we understand the pain, that you have to pay for dog fees! but on web page it is very clear says with extra "fees". we have to charge to all customer because house keepar has to wash erverthing and do shop vac to pick hair from carpet. It is "Ridiculous" customer expacting free. " Ants all over bathroom" Seriously? Normal customer will check out next day. "Honesty matters in this world"

I liked NOTHING about this property; in fact I am trying to get refund as we did not stay there. The room smelled of bleach and I'm immune comprised as I have cancer and could not stay there. The pool was not operational, the front desk person was rude; in fact we had to check at a different hotel as the office for this motel was under construction.

I could not stay there because of too much snow. Their entrance was blocked with too much snow. I could not get in and would not be able to get out. I know it was non refundable, but they should make allowances for unusual circumstances.

There was a horrific odor like dead animal very strong when we arrived. It was so bad guest from another room was it the parking lot complianing to the manager. When we went to the office to check in there was a note saying office closed for renovation please use office at hotel next door. When got back in pur vehicle past the smell of the dead animal. And at check in complained we didnt wish to stay where the smell was the lady said no problem we could stay here. We said thank you however the price of the room was higher than my original reservation.

The reservation was for 4 adults we inly had 2 towels in room The shampoo left in room was opened and used there were spider webs from lamp to ceiling no extra toilet paper The room was old and needs a facelift no staff on site due to remodel you need to register at hotel up the road.

The owner was super rude, gave me my room key but didnt tell me where it was i had to specifically ask and she would only give me oh its over there directions. Didnt get my deposit back even though i cleaned the room myself and nade the beds. Do not stay here

Nice older motel in very good condition. Very nice pool. Management was stingy regarding towels, pillows which seems quite unnecessary when you are paying more than $100/night.

Rooms were very tiny and the fridge didn’t work, they cleaned my room out before I even checked out of the hotel. For the price of the hotel it’s was to much money!!

Good enough for a utility stay
I needed a place to work while my family camped in the nearby forested area. For its category, the room was clean and organized, the towels were clean. But the window curtains were off the hook and the privacy was impacted a little. There was ample parking. But the wi-fi was very weak to non-existent and I had to use my hotspot.

This is a quiet place to stay for a very economical price. We just needed a place to sleep for one night and it served its purpose. A couple of outlets did not work and the free breakfast was in room coffee and some pastries in a box available at the front desk (which I only found when I was checking out). But if looking for a no frills cheap place to stay, this is a good choice.
