"The only thing going for this place is its location; the value for money is average given the service provided (nobar, no spa, no breakfast...). I wouldn’t recommend it for a long weekend Staff were rarely available: check-in on Saturday from 5pm and reception closed from 7pm + closed on Sunday and Monday Accommodation was fairly functional but the toilets are on the ground floor and the bedrooms upstairs + only one of the two beds was made up + the front door was very difficult to open Cold swimming pool, changing rooms with wet and slippery floors; No steam room available as it had to be booked (no information provided). No breakfast available even when requested before 6 pm (arrived at 5 pm – very tight schedule, especially when you have to make the bed, but no flexibility at reception even though it wasn’t yet 6 pm!!!) had to carry our own laundry (very heavy bag) to the entrance of the rental pedestrian gate impossible to open (couldn’t report it as reception was closed)..."

"IA lovely traditional house, 2 minutes from the sea (which you can just about see from the front deck), and 5 minutes from a couple of restaurants and a couple of shops. I loved the chilled laid-back feel of Le Vieil."

"The interior of the house is beautifully designed and presented and contained everything we needed for our stay, including those useful things such as eg cooking oil, dishwasher tablets and clingfilm that most places don’t have. Dominique and her husband were there to welcome us, were very kind and friendly, and had provided lovely snacks and drinks for our arrival. The house is handily placed for cafes, a Spar and the beach in the picturesque old town. You can’t fail to have a relaxing stay here. We were two adults and two girls aged 12 and 13 and it suited us well. We took bikes and cycled everywhere…"
