"We were delighted to have booked Le Provencal. The setting in Gien is perfect, with both easy access to the village and also front line access to the sea via the well maintained gardens, pool & bathing platforms. "Staff at reception were very helpful and welcoming and explained there was a theme night that night, reservation only, with free tapas and live music. Unfortunately having been involved in a major motorcycle accident the day before I just needed a bed otherwise free food would always draw me in!! Great location and loved the free multi function water dispenser on the room floor level near the lift. Highly recommend this one to anyone who isn't as majorly sore all over like I was !! Neck not...

"Overall, this property is amazing. We would have given this five stars except for one small mishap - when we entered our room, it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned. The staff was very attentive and helpful, unfortunately there were no other rooms to put us in but they quickly gave our room a proper cleaning while we chilled at their beachside patio and comped our breakfast for the following day. We had a loft apartment with its own patio that was a really nice space for a family of four. The restaurant was a bit pricey but had great food and atmosphere. I would highly recommend Domaine de la Mer"

"Nous avons passé un superbe séjour en famille..la piscine superbe..la clim géniale par ces grandes chaleurs et la personne qui nous accueille tres sympathique. Rien à redire juste que mériterait un bon coup de ménage à fond et aérer mais ça ne nous a pas dérangé pour passer un superbe moment."

"Our family of four spent a wonderful week at Joël Carine's home. We had a wonderful reception by Valérie with a thorough introduction to the home. The photos do not do the property justice. The panorama from the living room and upper deck provide an incredible 360 degree view, it is impossible to capture it in a photo. The architecture and landscape design are very well done with beautiful plants, textures and design. The pool was refreshing, the upper deck was comfortable and found myself watching the sunset there every night. We did most of our meals in nearby La Capte, this village has a wonderful relaxed vibe and great restaurants. The property also has direct access to the Sentier Littoral - we tried it one day, so if you are interested in hiking, this is a plus. We thoroughly enjoyed this house, book without hesitation. It is a special place."
