This is a newly renovated one bedroom home surrounded by a magnificent citrus tree garden! Ideal for couples or two friends seeking to experience original Cretan living in a totally peaceful environment away from tourist crowds. Located just 20’ drive from Chania center, next to the Botanical Park, Limnoupolis Water Park and close to many sandy beaches! Air condition, wifi, cable TV, heating available.
Our 40m2 newly renovated home is fully equipped and able to comfortably accommodate 2 people. It offers one spacious double bedroom and an open space living room with kitchen and dining table.
Our apartment’s highlight is its spacious terrace and magnificent garden offering extra sitting or dining space with parasols, hammock and the relaxing sound and sight of a water fountain.
Our garden is ideal to enjoy your meals, drinks or just read your favourite book! Upon season and availability feel free to grab our organically grown fruit straight from our orange, clementine, lemon, pomegranate and lotus trees!
The flat is situated in the quiet village of Fournes just 20 minutes drive from the center of Chania and a 20min drive from the nearest beaches or just 10 drive from the Botanical Gardens of Crete!

Our home is located in the peaceful village of Fournes in the greater region of Chania. At about 100m to the village main square, you will find 2 mini markets and a traditional cafe.
There is also a bus stop with daily & frequent routes to Chania city. The nearest sandy beaches are about 11km away namely Kalamaki, Agia Marina or Platanias.
At the popular seaside towns of Platanias and Agia Marina you can find a wider range of shops and services as well as organised beaches, water sport facilities and a vibrant nightlife.
The house is in an excellent location if you are planning to visit the famous beaches of Falasarna, Elafonisi, and Palaiochora.
Finally, it is also ideally located next to the Botanical Park of Crete, Limnoupolis Water Park and Agia Lake! Ideal location to enjoy Chania away from the busy summer tourist crowds!
*Please be aware that our rates exclude an additional stayover tax. For stays from April to October, the tax is €8 per night, while from November to March, it is €2 per night. We really enjoyed our stay. The appartment had all te comforts and was situated in an orange grove. So don't mind about your vitamine C. The village is authentic and a nice place to stay with a small supermarket and bakery around the corner. Only five minutes away is the botanic garden and the two awesome gorges and mountain tail withe breathtaking views to have a sturdy walk. When it's hot, the beach is only 20 minutes by car.
