PERSEPHONE COTTAGE - ENHANCE YOUR SENSES

In Greek mythology, Persephone is the daughter of Zeus and Demeter. Homer describes her as the formidable, venerable, majestic queen.
Persephone Cottage is located in the village of Platres (Troodos mountain) and is 25 kilometres north-west of city of Limassol. It's also 45 kilometres south-west of the capital Nicosia and 5 kilometres from Troodos square. The villages in Troodos are very charming, and contain folk architecture and cobbled streets.
Persephone Cottage is a mid-size, two level house with lots of charm! The cottage is set on a sloped site surrounded by pine trees facing an open landscape. Α big backyard for kids to play is provided, and a picnic table for outdoor family dinners also. The cottage is perfect for couples or mid-size families. It takes around 5 minutes walk to Platres center where you can shop most necessities at the grocery store, pharmacy and liquor store, find some local restaurants and a handicraft store. Platres is picture perfect for hiking and leisurely walks. With different slopes of varying degrees it is great for people of all ages and abilities. A complete network of amazing walking trails starting either from the top of the Troodos mountains, with unspoiled, breathtaking views over the sea and the near by villages or across the rivers where the sounds of nature blended with the beauty of the trees and plants invite you to a lifetime experience beyond your imagination and expectations. Downstairs there is an open kitchen, dining area, sitting room with fireplace and two bedrooms, bathroom with bathtub and toilet. A rather steep spiral staircase leads to the comfortable upper level with one bedroom and double bed, bathroom with toilet and showers.
The cottage is updated and fully stocked with linens, towels, toilet paper and toiletries. The kitchen contains place settings for 8, dishes, bowls, knives, dry goods, spices and condiments all for you to use. It is stocked with all cooking appliances and utensils, as well as a good selection of teas and local coffee.
There are plenty of games, puzzles, and books for both children and adults.

Relax and enjoy outside the large backyard with amenities including BBQ, dining table, and wooden bench. High quality bed linens, bath towels and high quality toiletries with essential oil are included with this amazing space.
