Ferienwohnung Plau am See

This tastefully furnished holiday apartment for 2 people is located just a few steps from Plötzensee and just under 500 m from Plauer See, in a quiet residential area just outside the town, on the top floor of the owner's house on a plot of approx. 2,900 m². Restaurants can be found in the neighbourhood, the town centre with shopping facilities is approx. 2.5 km away.



The 50 m² non-smoking apartment, which was completely renovated in 2021, is centrally heated and equipped with insect screens, is accessible via a separate external spiral staircase and is spread over three levels. On the first is the hallway with a wardrobe and plenty of storage space, on the second is the large living room (sofa bed, desk, flat-screen TV, radio) with open, modern kitchen (dining area, electric cooker with oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, various small kitchen appliances) and a spacious bathroom (shower, WC, electric towel warmer, hairdryer) and on the third (accessible via stairs) the open sleeping area (two mattresses).



There is also an approx. 30 m² furnished roof terrace with lake view, a gas barbecue, car park, bicycle storage and a private jetty on Lake Plötzensee (swimming for swimmers). WLAN is also available. The total price includes final cleaning, water and energy consumption as well as bed linen and towels (initial supply). To be paid on site: Tourist tax. Pets are not allowed in this property.



The climatic health resort of Plau am See, the "gateway" to the Mecklenburg Lake District, has a long tradition as a holiday resort. At 38.4 km², the lake of the same name is the third largest in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and offers the best conditions for water sports enthusiasts and hobby anglers. The hilly surrounding countryside with forests and other small and large lakes offers many other excursion options on foot or by bike. The Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide Nature Park begins on the northern shore of Lake Plau, about which detailed information is provided in the "Karower Meiler", and the "Moorochse" observation tower directly on the lake is a popular excursion destination. In Plau itself there are several bathing beaches, boat and bike hire, diving and sailing schools, a climbing park, passenger boat trips and fishing opportunities. The picturesque old town, which is still characterised by the half-timbered and brick houses of the farming community, invites you to stroll around with its numerous restaurants, cafés and shopping opportunities. In addition to the lift bridge, the castle tower with ramparts, the 13th century Protestant town church "St. Marien" and the Plauer town hall in the Dutch Renaissance style are outstanding contemporary witnesses. The latest highlight is the observation tower directly at the junction of the Müritz-Elde waterway and Lake Plau.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt wunderbar ruhig im Grünen gelegen in einer kleinen Siedlung nahe an zwei Seen. Sie bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten welche man sich als Urlauber wünschen kann. Von der geräumigen Terrasse mit Grill, Liegen, Sonnenschirm u. Sitzgelegenheiten bis hin zu der mit viel Liebe im Detail eingerichteten Wohnung. Diese ist durch die vielen Fenster und die Holzoptik sehr hell, freundlich und meiner Meinung nach noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Der Blick von der Wohnung aus geht ins Grüne und auf den See, vom Bett aus in den Sternenhimmel. Die Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten zum Schwimmen und für Ausflüge. Die Vermieter sind gut zu erreichen, herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Ich kann diese Wohnung nur empfehlen!
