Mi Casita in the Mountains_ 5 Min from the beach!_ Breathtaking View!
10/10 Excellent
"Pros: Easy to locate using GPS coming from San Juan airport. Extremely clean, has minimalistic industrial feel with the lamps, furniture, tables. Has washer and dryer. Master has the old style tub/shower & guest bath has a beautiful walk in shower.Linens were nice with a super high thread count making them soft and sleek. Pillows were perfect for us. Kitchen has most everything you’ll need as far as pots/pans as well as a basic set of plates, silverware, drinking glasses & 4 coffee mugs. Garage has just enuff room to fit our larger suv but nothing more than 1 vehicle. The view? Absolutely fantastic! Huge sliding doors in the living room offer the best view of the mountain & ocean. Master has a row of sliding windows that make for a gorgeous view to wake to!Cons: scary close to the main highway. Like maybe 6 feet away. Tons of constant road noise & on weekends cars are blaring music as loud as they can, full volume. There is absolutely no way to escape the sound if you expect to sleep, horns honking, huge trucks, motorcycles. It’s as if the sounds are in the home with you and I’m serious. Too bright at night! Dusk to dawn light on front porch never turns off all night. Between this & lights from the highway, it’s always bright, especially in the 2 guest rooms which offer no curtains & sit next to the road. We have a 2 year old who struggled to sleep. WiFi didn’t work for us, it kept asking us to pay for it to get it so we had no tv but it was ok! Host was great!! "
"Esta fue mi segunda estadía y la pasamos brutal. Conocimos al anfitrión, Carlos, y fue super amable. Sin duda, este es el lugar al que regresaré cada vez que venga de visita."

"We enjoyed our stay. There was a little learning curve when it came to hot water for the showers, bit other than that, we had no issues. The owners are very responsive and helpful."
"It was a perfect family beach getaway. It’s in a gated community, walking distance to Playa El Cocal with grocery stores/bakeries/restaurants nearby. House was just as described and Luann was very attentive, checking in on us to ask if we needed anything. The only thing that would have made this stay better would have been more time….to sip on a cup of coffee on the deck that wraps around, take in all the natural beauty and starlit sky at night and listen to the waves and song of the coquis."
