"This place was better then we thought. It was very spacious, beds were extra comfy and the kitchen was super stocked. Think Grandma’s house with all the essentials and pretty much anything you could think of. I would have loved if there was a little oil and salt and pepper available for cooking without having to buy it but it was so good. The pool is not huge but it was normally quiet and all ours.. the beach is super close and also quiet. Seriously playa Flamingo was crazy but Potrero. So calm...

We did have some significant issues with the address to the unit., which took us hours to find in the dark with no street signs and no cell service. "We only stayed one night as this was a landing spot for us after La Fortuna and before moving on to the south. I booked it mainly for the ability to do laundry and space to move around. We enjoyed soaking our feet in the pool this morning before rushing off to our next destination. "Great Location and View! Ilya was a great host and was able to give us a walk though of the condo upon arrive that was very helpful. Ilya also provided several recommendations for restaurants, groceries, and activities that made our stay very memorable. "Overall Rating: 4/5 Stars The Good: The property is beautiful, clean, and extremely well maintained. We stayed for a week and especially loved the beach and the top-notch evening shows. Our room was incredible! A special 5-star shoutout to Jefferson at the front desk for such a warm and welcoming check! The cleaning lady assigned to clean our room did an amazing work every time! We did got to thank her personally with a few tokens of appreciation! Areas for Improvement: Service at the restaurants was a real letdown. Many staff members seemed overworked, unhappy, and indifferent. Guests weren't informed about restricted seating upon entering the buffet, leading to frustration and poor service— at some points I saw a couple of staff laughing at some clients, that was not very professional…Uncollected plates, no water offered, and tense staff. The atmosphere was also ruined by servers aggressively scraping plates and throwing cutlery into buckets right near diners in the Italian restaurant and the buffet. It made for a loud, chaotic environment that forced us to leave early on a few occasions. Beautiful resort, but management seriously needs to address restaurant staffing and training. This been said, the overall experience was very nice and we had a good time!"

"This hotel will ruin all other hotels for you. The staff was incredible, the grounds were immaculate, the room was amazing, the wildlife and beach on property were unreal. Seriously, if you stay here, there’s no going back to mediocre hotels. You’ve been warned. We’re 100% going back. My wife literally cried when we were leaving."

"It’s honestly hard to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay at Casa Frisons. The pictures are beautiful, but I’m not sure they fully do the house or the views justice. The property is spectacular, the ocean views are breathtaking, and by the end of our trip we were already talking about coming back to Playa Flamingo and staying in this exact house again.The house is huge and perfect for a family or group. We spent a lot of our downtime in the large open living area and outside around the pool. Every bedroom has its own private patio overlooking the ocean, several have their own living space, and there is also a separate guest house.The private beach access is a really nice bonus and would be great for a family to spend a good part of the day. The walk down feels like you’re walking through a national park. Flamingo Beach is also a great option if you’re looking for a bigger, more traditional beach.As amazing as the house was, the people made the stay even better. Bilitis was incredible, extremely responsive and helped us with excursions, changing plans and countless questions. Benjamin was equally helpful and always seemed to be nearby when we needed anything.Five stars without hesitation. One travel tip: if you’re coming from Liberia, I highly recommend the Monkey Trail if it’s not rainy season. It can save you a lot of time getting to Playa Flamingo. We would absolutely stay here again."
