Loustic - Charmant gîte en baie de Douarnenez

We are offering this charming 55 m² holiday cottage for rent in the village of Plomodiern. It is semi-detached from the owners’ home, situated 2 km from the sea and can accommodate up to 4 guests. It comprises a lovely 20 m² living room, a fully fitted open-plan kitchen, two beautiful bedrooms, a shower room, and a garden of around 40 m².

The single-storey holiday let is laid out as follows:
- A 20 m² living room with a TV, sofa, working fireplace and dining area.
- A fully equipped open-plan kitchen, including: an electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob and filter coffee machine...
- A utility room with a washing machine.
- Bedroom 1: a queen-size bed (160×200) and a wardrobe.
- Bedroom 2: two single beds and a wardrobe.
- A bathroom with shower, hairdryer and heated towel rail.
- Separate toilet.

Outside:
– A lovely, south-facing, unfenced garden of 40 m². The gîte is equipped with a barbecue, two sun loungers, a parasol and a table with benches.

For even greater comfort, the owners can provide the following baby equipment free of charge: high chair, travel cot with fitted sheet, changing mat, potty and baby bath.

The Loustic gîte is adjoining another property and situated in a pleasant courtyard shared with the owners, who are discreet but available if needed. The atmosphere is family-friendly and perfect for relaxation, in a very pleasant setting.
The road opposite the garden is very quiet as it is a cul-de-sac: it is used only by the owners and a few walkers. You’ll find all the essential shops nearby, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and a market…

Activities:
Plomodiern is a village nestled on Douarnenez Bay at the entrance to the Crozon Peninsula. You’ll have the chance to enjoy a wide range of activities, both on land and at sea. Let yourself be swept away by the Celtic atmosphere and set off to explore Locronan, a village full of character, or Quimper – two beautiful towns offering enriching cultural experiences! You’ll be charmed by the lush greenery on one side and the fine sandy beaches on the other, such as Kervijen, Porz Ar Vag and Lestrevet; Kervel and Sainte-Anne-la-Palud are around 10 kilometres away and offer you the chance to try your hand at a range of water sports: surfing, sand yachting, boating, kitesurfing…
- Tourist attractions: The picturesque village of Locronan is 15 minutes away (explore the village with its many art galleries, church, small shops and crêperies). The charming town of Douarnenez is 20 minutes away (explore the canneries, the harbour, the town centre and the coastal paths). The superb Crozon peninsula is 25 minutes away, featuring Telgruc-sur-Mer, Morgat, Crozon and Camaret-sur-Mer… (the chance to tackle the GR34 trail, the headlands and the lovely beaches!)

Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the gîte’s outdoor car park (space for 2 vehicles).

As for other modes of transport, here is some information that you may find useful:
- Nearest railway station: Quimper station, approximately 35 minutes’ drive away.
- Nearest airport: Brest Airport, approximately 50 minutes’ drive away.

Other notes:
- The fireplace is in working order. Firewood is provided.
- Free Wi-Fi is available.
- Pets are allowed in the gîte provided they are used to living indoors. A special clean-up related to their presence will need to be carried out before departure
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future guests. Please leave it in a reasonably clean condition and clean any kitchen appliances after use.
- Bed linen and towels are not included but can be provided on request at an additional cost (to be arranged and paid for with our on-site partner): €15 per person, including bed linen and towels.
- Tea towels and bath mats are provided.
