The Getaway

Welcome to The Getaway located in Locust Lake Village. The home is situated on one floor with a huge lofted living area, AC window unit in the dining area. This is a great family retreat. We have a huge backyard with a custom tree house the kids will love. We have swings and lots of room to run and play. The yard offers a firepit area situated in the prime location for getting a full view of all the stars in the sky. You can sit by the fire, cooking marshmallows and making great family memories. Welcome to The Getaway located in Locust Lake Village one of the best communities the Poconos has to offer. The home is situated on one floor with a huge lofted living area. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are open space with a loft-like feel. AC window unit in the dining area. We have a stone gas-burning fireplace. The whole home was completely gut-renovated a few years ago. This is a great family retreat. We have a huge backyard with a custom tree house the kids will love. We have swings and lots of room to run and play. The yard offers a firepit area situated in the prime location for getting a full view of all the stars in the sky. You can sit back with a roaring fire, cooking marshmallows and making great family memories. Outside of the living room, we have an outdoor seating area with a bbq grill and a picnic table. The home is clean and modern with stylish decor. We have 4 lakes in our community, one is an 8-minute walk from our home. We have a small ski hill with a T-bar lift on the weekends, the sledding hill is open every day and we provide blow-up tubes and sleds. Our community is approx. 10 mins drive to the Kalahari Waterpark & Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Pocono Race Track. 20-25 minutes to Camelback resorts, Mount Airy Casino, Crossing outlets & water rafting. 35-40 minutes from Bushkill Falls, Historic Jim Thorpe, Skirmish paintball, Scranton Electric City. The best way to get around is by car. Locust Lake Village has 24 hours security. The community has a $35 registration fee for the length of your stay. You are able to drive to any of the four lakes and/or amenities with the car tag the office will give you at check-in. Our driveway can fit up to 6 cars, no street parking is allowed in the community. Please note the community's speed limit is 25 m/h. Security enforces reckless driving with violation tickets.
