"This is an excellent property. Lovely accommodations, a beautiful swimming pool, vistas, a private path to Leroux Beach, fully equipped kitchen, and very quiet. The sound of the ocean waves are soothing. The hostess Aude was exceptionally helpful from answering questions to referring us find William, Pelican Safari Tours, who provided transfers,tours, and friendship. "We (two families of 9) had an incredible 2 weeks stay. The owners, Helene and Pascal, could not have been nicer or more helpful (they were in a small bungalow next door so available if needed but never in the way). We used the outdoor kitchen exclusively and lived around the pool or in the ocean. The floating dock and last section of stairs had been ripped out by a storm, but a temporary ladder was available and worked fine, although we did miss the floating dock. "Ce logement est bien spacieux ,très bien situé pour découvrir Basse Terre. Il est situé à côté de la superbe plage de Malendure et à proximité des ilets pigeon, de la route de la traversée ce qui permet de bien rayonner en voiture. Notre fils a passé pas mal de temps dans le hamac de ma terrasse exterieure bien agréable pour les repas. Les chambres sont climatisées .L'accueil d'Huguette et de son mari a été chaleureux. Des fruits,du lait nous attendaient ."

"The villa was just as described online. A lovely space in a tranquil setting with a great view. Our hostess couldn't have been better. She brought beverages and breakfast due to our late arrival and recommended a day trip to a botanical garden which we enjoyed. We appreciated the cleanliness and would highly recommend the villa to others."

"The owner was conscious of our needs. He immediately ushered us in, told us to make ourselves home and that he would be back to answer and questions. The home can accommodate 9! Plenty of space! Beautiful grounds, a pool to yourself and 3-20 mins to the beach of your choice! Grocery is 2km away! The ambiance the owner provides and his story is c’est magnifique! When we were there we were 100m from the filming of Death in Paradise a Netflix filming! St Rose has many a street vendor."

"Nicely maintained, nicely designed, roomy - ideal for our group of 7. Wonderful hot tub. Our kids didn't much want to leave the house! We don't speak French so there was some communication difficulties but there were no real problems"

"The property is in a lively spot but at the top of a steep ramp. Some of the paintwork around the doors would do with a touch up but the kitchen is fairly modern and well equipped. A teapot for English visitors would be appreciated. :-) Notes on recycling and bin days would have been helpful although Laetitia did mention it. Having something written down would have helped. Fresh sheets and towels after the first week of a two week stay should have been standard (we had to ask for them). Lovely...

"The villa is very nice spacious and gives the feeling of home. We arrived on a holiday and everything closed early. A car rental is a MUST!!! Everyone was friendly the neighbors were a huge help. The WiFi is accessible but not strong. Although there are 4 bedrooms the owners decide how many you’ll use. There is also a tourist tax that is added on upon our arrival it wasn’t much but still was not mentioned. It was a very relaxing vacation overall and we would visit again."

"The house was as described. Spacious, well kept, and on a nice property. You'll need a car, but that's true for the entire area. My only observations that I'd wish I was aware of before hand were that the ACs are on a timer and only work during the evenings and there is a 100 Euro cleaning fee not included in the price."
