Sadhana is a very special place. I went as a single traveler woman in my 50s from the US. I spent 3 days here learning meditation, yoga, and being served the best and freshest food I have had in Nepal. My room had a huge window on 2 sides, so although it was very hot down by the lake, up at Sadhana, it was fairly cool and breezy so sleeping in the fresh white sheets was very comfortable. The view of the lake from my room was gorgeous. And if you happen to be a bird nerd like me, you will be in heaven seeing and hearing so many amazing birds in the trees right outside your window. Use your trusty Merlin app with Nepal downloaded on your phone and you will be amazed at the variety of birds you are hearing. The staff/family at Sadhana was so welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this retreat.
