A Dog's Holiday
A very comfortable, well appointed cottage set among gum trees and close to cafes and wineries. Our dog enjoyed sitting on the veranda gazing into space. The breakfast goodies and wine was most appreciated.

Perfect Location
Perfect location for a lovely stay in Hunter. Very comfortable accommodations. Bed was very comfy. Bonus was a lovely bottle of wine and refrigerator stocked for breakfast. Would definitely come back to stay. Tanya is an excellent host.

Lovely tranquil spot in the bush with a great outlook and kangaroos and birds a plenty. Good location where you can walk to nearby wineries and a brewhouse. Needs a new aircon in the bedroom but adequate and the outside BBQ has seen better days, the kitchen needs a decent cheese board and knives and a champagne stopper would go astray, we usually bring our own so we were prepared, other that that we will definitely be back. Loved the ambience.

Best dog friendly accommodation in the Hunter
We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. We have stayed in the Hunter with our dog a few times and this place is by far the best. Plenty of space for the dog to safely roam around and it’s within walking distance of a number of dog friendly wineries and breweries. Clean, comfortable, great host, easy check in process and a perfect location. What more could you ask for!

We stayed here for 3 nights in the Lillipilli cottage - Nice bush outlook from large verandah. Our pooch loved it! The cottage was very clean and comfortable and walking distance to a few wineries - I Highly recommend it.

Great for a quick getaway
Lovely place to stay - Hermitage Road is a great location for some smaller wineries, so we did't need to stray far. Property had all that we needed, and some lovely serenity among the trees and kangaroos. Many thanks.

Wonderful, pet friendly getaway
We stayed here for 3 nights and did not want to leave. Great location in the heart of numerous vineyards. The place was immaculate with lovely décor and quite spacious. Great for meals and drinks on the verandah overlooking the bush. Our dog was in his element. Highly recommend this place for a short or longer stay.

Such a peaceful way to start the year
My husband and I stayed at Lilly Pilly over New Years, with our dog Nova. It was such a peaceful way to start the new year. We bbq’d dinner on the deck where we listened to the birds and crickets, and even saw some kangaroos laying in the shade. The wineries are nice and close, and the cottage has everything you need, including breakfast provisions and a bottle of their beautiful wine. We loved being able to bring our dog with us, she loved it too! We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in the Hunter valley.

The better option. Clean, comfortable, spacious, private and totally relaxing
We were greeted by croaking frogs on arrival and grazing kangaroos on waking. Our spacious cottage was very clean, tidy and comfortable. We particularly loved relaxing on the back verandah for meals, admiring the beauty of the surrounding trees and nature. We appreciated the host’s generous breakfast provisions. This is definitely the better option to a hotel/motel room.

Great Location and Cottage!
We loved our few days at 27 rows, the cottage was a great size and having a fenced in deck made it so much more stress free with a dog. Check in was easy and the added bonus is if breakfast supplies and a bottle of wine were fantastic! Thanks for a great stay Tanya, we have already recommended you to a few friends and plan on returning ourselves.

The property was really clean. Would suggest putting in tissues and maybe more utensils. Liked the welcome pack of wine and breakfast items in fridge. Eg bread, eggs, bacon, juice,milk. Lovely aspect and very comfortable bed. All in all a pleasant experience.

Perfect Retreat
Perfect Location, close to wineries, short drives to all the key areas. Lovely long walks along the bicycle path. The Cottage was a dream with enough privacy with the woods surrounding and kangaroos hopping by. Not many places have a wonderful setting to take your pet, but this was. On top of it all, Tanya was a wonderful kind hostess and appreciated the generosity with the breakfast and quick communication & fully functional kitchen. Hope to visit again in the near future Thanks Tanya for letting my little furbaby and I have a cosy christmas in your vineyard

Relaxing retreat
We loved our stay here. It was a quiet, relaxing bush land setting but walking distance to amazing wineries and restaurants. The bottle of wine and breakfast was a lovely inclusion.

A Wonderful Escape
Lilly Pilly cottage has such an excellent location, with a delightfully remote, out-in-the-trees feel, but actually being in the centre of Pokolbin! With it's tasteful furnishings and thoughtfully welcoming touches we are planning a return trip SOON!

All we'd hoped for
Our cottage was beautifully situated overlooking the bush. Peaceful, private, well-equipped with thoughtful touches like plenty of towels. Our dog loved it too, she spent as much time as possible on the verandah hoping to see a kangaroo or a wombat. Tanya is an excellent host and we look forward to our next visit.

I’ve and roomy, the breakfast provisions were sensational especially the sourdough cob loaf! Mistletoe Vineyard next door is a treasure, and yes it’s a walk next door! You can do as little or as much as you choose with so many. One yards and eateries I the door step. Very hospitable host, thanks June! We look forward to coming back!

Perfect location for touring Hunter Valley
We planned for 2 days in the valley. This property is centrally located and on a small vineyard so there is stil picturesque quiet and privacy. The self contained unit is pristinely clean with a large queen bed, bath with walk in shower and full kitchen and lounge area. The kitchen was stocked with full breakfast supplies and a welcome bottle of vino which was appreciated.. Our hosts Tanya and Bruce were available on site to assist with advice. There were resto’s and wineries within walking distance and many more within 5-10 minute drive as well as 3 golf courses. Fantastic choice for touring this area.

Beautifully secluded in the heart of wine country
The Lilly Pilly villa met all of our needs for a beautifully relaxing wkd in the Hunter Valley. Very close to the boutique wineries and best restaurants in the Hunter. We felt close enough to the action, and far enough to enjoy our villa in privacy. Hosts were very helpful and attentive. Definitely be back......oh and it's dog friendly, so we'll be bringing our fur baby with us next time :)

Romantic Anniversary Weekend Get Away
Tanya and Bruce were perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them to make our weekend special. Lilly Pilly cottage was lovely, beautifully decorated with lots of little touches which made it a great place to stay.

Wonderful long weekend
Very clean, comfortable and quiet accommodation in the heart of the vineyards. The kitchen was well- stocked for breakfast which was a really nice touch. Our dog loved having the space to run around and was very excited to see his first kangaroos! Definitely recommend taking a walk to the winery next door (Tintilla) for some afternoon wine tasting and cheese. We’ll definitely be coming back.
