Reasonable place and good management
Good sized for our family of 5 (3kids) and had all the linen and entertainment required. A fair warning the young kids will use the stairs as a slide if you dont have any in your house currently

Perfect Place
This was a perfect property for a short stay in the Hunter Valley. It is centrally located in a quiet bushland setting close to all amenities. Have stayed before and will definitely stay again.

Our security code shared with another Group and not provided with new code
Enjoyed the short stay beautiful place very disappointed about our room security code sent to another group and when advised weekenda they advised not to worry about new security code. Without thinking about the safety of the originally booked customers. Would think twice next time using the same facilities for future breaks.

Great position
The unit was lovely and suited 2 couples really well. Only a couple of negatives, I don’t remember reading about all the stairs to get to the unit, the lounge is really not comfortable ( we wanted to relax at the end of a long day exploring the area) and no face washers in the bathrooms. The unit was well fitted out with air conditioners. Coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave and stove. It is well situated in the Cypress Lakes area with easy access to all the attractions of the Hunter Valley.

A fantastic property. Big comfortable beds, well furnished throughout. Property was clean and well equipped for the stay. Lovely views onto the golf course. Owners pool was perfect for a swim and not too busy. easy parking and access to and from the property. A great family or romantic getaway. very close to hunter valley gardens and surrounding wineries, pubs and attractions.

Easy and good
Like everyone else says in the review. No exaggeration... beautiful location. Beautiful house. Actually, all the basics were covered. Wish they had communicated that the dishwasher wasn't working. They did have the courtesy to let us know we didn't have to bother with the dishes if we couldn't. But it was already too late. Anyways other than that one bit, everything else was amazing. Safe property, near by to so many wineries. Easy check in, easy parking, beautiful view, amazing privacy, kids safe furniture. Would definitely recommend to all my friends with kids and would definitely visit again.

Excellent property let down by Letting Agency
Excellent property great location although let down by Letting Agency paid for two bedroom two bathroom got one bathroom because one was locked with key . Advised the letting agency and was promised help but none came very disappointed. Jason

Great place and convenient location
Check in was really easy and the location was central to all the best wineries. As a party of adults, we loved having ensuite to both rooms. Beds were were comfortable and rooms were a good size. The indoor and outdoor spaces were fabulous and the kitchen was a good size with plenty of equipment for cooking. Our party were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect pad for a short getaway
We stayed here to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday and it was perfect. The place was clean, spacious with great views and the open fire was a real bonus. Definitely recommend it.

Comfortable and good location
The property was nice and in a good location. Access from the car park was a bit of a walk. There were a several cobwebs inside so cleanliness wasn’t ideal. We cooked breakfast one morning but the fry pan was warped and the handle was very loose so might want to bring your own pan for cooking. Otherwise the accommodation was nice.

A pleasant stay in a nice resort
Quite a lovely little property, quite a nice retreat for a family. It's a privately owned property in a larger resort. The grounds are lovely, and there's a quiet little pool available for swimming. The larger pool at the resort is reserved for resort guests. Very pleasant little stay.

Loved the location. Villa was lovely just like in photos. Check in was an easy process.
Overall great experience except for a few issues we experienced 1) On arrival the vent on the wall near the door fell off, 2) Tv in bedroom Not connected so kids couldn’t use it 3) No wifi despite being advertised that there was which was a major issue especially needing to email for work 4) Balcony screen door very difficult to open 5) Dripping tap in main bathroom 6) worst part was we heard a rustling noise in Dining room at night only to discover a large mouse (or small rat) in our kids snack bags we had ready for the next day - we had to discard all of this

Spacious accommodation in a nice resort
Our second stay at the resort. Very handy place when with kids because of food options by the pool and full kitchens if you choose to eat in. Lots of roos too!

Beautiful location and perfect weekend away
I had stayed the weekend with some friends looking to get away from our busy work week. We really enjoyed our stay! The Villa was clean and tidy however some dishes had not been properly washed and required re washing. Everything else was in good condition. We especially enjoyed the fire place and good variety of amenities.

Property was not what was pictured and very dated. Counted a few little issues, toilet in main bathroom had the water turned off and soon realised it was due to constantly running. Called the number given as toilet would not flush and was made to fix ourselves. Heating in the loungeroom would not turn on.

Needs a little updating
Everything you need was there. In a great spot. Only two negatives - the quilt (hidden under the top cover) was yellow rather than white, and the carpets were dirty and needed cleaning. Oh, and one of the toilets upstairs didn’t flush properly and the. The water in the cistern kept running - which we had to fix to stop. Overall was a good stay, but the unit could do with a little updating.

Great two nights!
I booked this stay last minute for our family for New Year's Eve. The whole process was so easy, really appreciate "HomeAway" and their efficiency. The vila had everything we needed and was extremely clean and well maintained for its age. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

The apartment is clean and comfortable but lacks any personality
We have stayed at the Cypress Lakes resort on a number of occasions. When we booked this apartment we were hoping it would be consistent with the previous standards we enjoyed. Although the villa was clean and the sheets were lovely, the apartment seemed a bit tired and uncared for. My husband felt that he would have preferred to know in advance that the bathroom was wheelchair accessible as it did not have shower screens and felt cold.

The apartment in this picture is not the one we stayed in. We also expected a fireplace as per the description of the one pictured....and we specifically wanted a fireplace. Disappointing, the apartment we had wasn’t as nicely decorated but was generally fine. Annoyed that we didn’t get what was promised.

Overall good quality
Overall villa was clean and what we expected. Issue however with the second bathroom with there being no shower screen which means a very wet bathroom after showering . Also information was great and check in easy.
