"Great home, beautiful setting, enjoyed our stay"

"We had a wonderful stay at Lizzie’s place. The setting on the lake is peaceful and quiet, and during our visit we were lucky to get a beautiful snowfall that made everything feel calm and cozy. The large living room windows brought in great views, and the open layout made it easy for everyone to spend time together while still feeling comfortable.The home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the basics for cooking, and the basement game room was a great bonus — the pool table and games kept both the kids and adults busy. What we appreciated most was how naturally the space brought our family together. Our kids actually put their devices away, and none of us were ready to leave when the trip ended.Lizzie was very responsive and helpful, and communication was smooth from start to finish. The home is well cared for and in great condition. We would gladly return, and would love to experience it again in the summer as well."

"First, I must say the mattresses could definitely use some updating. I believe they are memory foam, but it took me two nights to realize I was sleeping in a hole in one of them. They’re not very level. With that being said, everything else was excellent. The house is much larger in person than it looks like in pictures and the location is perfect. If you don’t want to be too close to the city. Anytime I had to communicate with the owner I got a response within a few minutes. It was a very nice experience and I will definitely stay there again."

"The lake is beautiful, peaceful, and serene. It was really nice to have kayaks and SUP’s at our disposal. The sauna is a nice touch, too. The property is set in a private, woodsy location, so if you’re trying to get away from it all, this is your place! The house is clean and kept up very nicely. It’s very spacious and comfortable. The host and hostess are super accommodating and respond promptly to any needs or inquiries. You will love it here! We sure did!"

"It was a great location and had a gorgeous view of the lake. Quiet area and close to all shops, restaurants and hiking. But , we would not stay here again. The cleanliness of the house was really bad and it had a smell, probably because of how dirty and dusty it was. I understand a vacation rental isn’t going to be perfect but this went beyond, especially for paying almost 5000 for the week. All the lamp shades and plastic plants were covered in dust. Some areas of the carpet were crunchy. The bedding smelled like “body”. The upholstered furniture was stained. There were several ant traps in the kitchen and 2 fly papers hanging in the kitchen. The kitchen sink was dirty and we had to wash pots and pans before using. The water was so metallic, you couldn’t drink it and you smelled like the water after taking a shower. We did not contact the owner because we were already there and wouldn’t get a refund. If they would have sent a cleaning crew, it would have taken an entire day from us, unfortunately. "
