Our host was exemplary in showing us the local area. We had a deeply moving experience at both Kataragama and Tissamaharama. Pradath is an excellent resource for All things Sri Lanka. The accommodations are first rate. Big comfortable bed. Modern shower and tub. A/C and Wi-fi work great. Excellent meals prepared. It is the perfect spot to retreat in the evening. We heartily recommend it and will hopefully return.

"Very disappointed, the hotel looked lovely in the photos but reality was a different story. With the exception of one waiter none of the staff seemed to know what they were doing. 9/10 Wonderful! (718 reviews)
"Amazing location, peaceful views, cool design. Rooms are tired, time to renew them. The staff is super friendly, but some rules make the service are a bit inconvenient (like three restaurants, all of them opening at 7pm! Open one at 5pm, for families, since there are three of them!)"
