"The whole stay was amazing. The staff, the amenities, the lodge, the grounds … everything. My family loved the place and would definitely come back again. Clean rooms, swimming pool and spa, tennis courts, mini football playing field, walk ways, etc were amazing."

"Only issue that I can mention was the fact there was no one at the pool reception when we went for our first swim. A guest had to show me how to access. Consequently I went into the members changing room then when I eventually spoke to a girl she informed me I should not be there but to go to the other changing room. Had to ask for a tag. 2nd day no problem and helpful staff. Breakfast amazing It was my birthday and they gave me a little gift. Will definitely be going back"

"Staff were great and most helpful. Chose to dine in the bar area and not the restaurant and the food was fantastic and value for money, drinks are a little more expensive than the norm. Room was clean, nice bathroom, would recommend for a stop off in the area, Dont expect 4/5 star luxury the building is 18th century and for that you have to take the fact its not modern but it is a fantastic place with lots to read and see everywhere in the building"
