Detached house from 1830 fully restored near the owners' house with private pool open from April 1 to September 30. Heated from May 15 at 24 degrees and from June 1 to September 15 at 28 degrees and 24 degrees from 15 until September 30.! large wooded, fenced and flowered park of 7000 m 2.

Stayed here May 2023 with a few friends and Serge and Beatrice's gîte was absolutely perfect! The facilities are excellent, hosts exceptionally friendly and the pool, gardens and surrounding area delightful. We loved Serge's collection of robots! Would definitely recommend to others and absolutely stay here again!

Everything exceeded our expectations, Gîte de la Salagre is a diamond in the Bergerac countryside, surrounded by vineyards, it has everything, Serge et Béatrice are wonderful hosts and thought of everything. We would definitely return.

Property was beautiful and exactly as described. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, even providing a welcome supper as our flight landed late on a Sunday. The apple tart was delicious. Serge could not have been more helpful in recommending places to visit, markets and the best local wines! We have no hesitation in recommending this property if you’re wanting a rural, tranquil stay, but not too far from places to visit.

The property is superb. It's exactly how it looks and described on the website - clean, comfortable, well furnished with great facilities - swimming pool and area around it, gardens, table tennis, pertanque, badminton, table football and bikes to hire. Great wifi reception as well Situated in a lovely and quiet spot, surrounded by Vineyards but not too far from shops in the local village or Bergerac itself - about 10 minutes drive away

Beautiful, clean and well appointed home for a holiday. Serge & his wife made themselves untouchable, despite living next door, and could not have been more helpful in mailing sure we had a perfect holiday.

Serge and Bea have created paradise in the Dordogne in the form of stunning gardens and a clean, warm pool in which our girls spent much of the week. So many places to sit and enjoy within the gardens that we barely felt the need to leave. Ping pong, table football, pétanque, badminton and bikes also kept us entertained. Lovely restaurants and degustastions nearby. Oh and the air conditioning kept us perfectly cool during the hot nights too. One of our favourite trips to France. Highly recommended. We had the most wonderful week at this beautiful gite. The pool and the gardens were wonderful for walks and for our dog to explore. Inside, the furnished property had thought of everything. Upon arrival, our hosts came to greet us and had prepared a beautiful fruit flan, jam and a bottle of wine. The gite is secluded and in the country, but close to vineyards and restaurants and very close to the town. We had a truly wonderful holiday.

We had a super stay at La Salagre. The property is in a lovely location surrounded by vineyards and had everything we needed for a great holiday. The pool and pool area are absolutely fantastic and a lovely place to relax. It was so hot that we made the most of the pool and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was great. Serge and Beatrice were lovely and friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome and had lots of suggestions for things to do. It was great being able to practice some French when speaking with them. I’d definitely recommend a stay in this gite. Thank you

Our hosts Serge and Beatrice were very helpful and friendly. The gite is set amongst vineyards and has a superb garden with lovely flowers, driftwood and pots. The pool is warm and has lots of chairs and sun beds to relax on which stand on a beautiful stone. Inside the decor is tasteful . There are comfortable sofas, a TV and a large dining table. aThe air conditioning in the bedrooms is a real bonus. We had a brilliant week and will come again. It is close to Bergerac and its’ old town with many restaurants. The Monbazillac chateau and vineyard are very close by and well worth a visit.

This house and especially the garden with pool is even more beautiful in real then in the pictures! It’s really lovely. The house is located directly in the wine fields of the delicious Monbazillac wine. The owners house is right next door and can become very convenient for questions (does not speak English very well, but communication works). The owners are very nice and helpful. Bergerac is a love town to visit and very close. Other things to visit are a bit of a drive away (between 45 and 90 minutes usually), but you don’t even have to leave with this garden and pool. We recommend this house very much so. Keep in mind that there are 3 bedrooms with queen size beds (140x200), so for up to 6 persons.

What an absolute gem this place is! The property itself is lovely, perfect for our family of 5, the gardens are incredible, with a table tennis table, table football, badminton net, boules court and football goal. Our boys were in their element and were never bored! The garden itself is filled with a beautiful array of flowers. The swimming pool was amazing, we spent so much time in there and the pool surroundings are very relaxing. The owners Serge and Bea were so welcoming, they could not have been more helpful and accommodating. There was a delicious home made fruit tart left for us along with a bottle of wine and fruit basket. Later in the week Serge dropped in some fresh figs from the garden. They are the perfect hosts and we had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Dordogne. Thank you so much.

La maison correspond parfaitement à la description. La piscine est superbe et il était vraiment sympathique de pouvoir profiter des autres installations de loisir (ping pong, babyfoot, badminton....) et du grand terrain. Les propriétaires nous ont réservé un accueil tip top jamais vu ailleurs ! Ils ont vraiment a cœur que les vacanciers passent de bonnes vacances dans la maison. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour.

Nous avons passé Noël en famille dans le gîte de la Salagre. Tant l'accueil des propriétaires que l'emplacement, la qualité du gîte (chambres à l'étage, équipement, jardin extérieur...) mais également l'accueil des propriétaires ont contribué à la réussite du Noël en famille. Nous avons également pu faire la visite très intéressante d'un domaine viticole proche du gîte.

Stunning gite, well maintained and beautifully kept by the kindest loveliest couple Serge and Beatrice. They would do anything for you 😀 The pool was kept clean and was great fun, everything in the gite for perfect for our stay. Kids loved the pool, football, bowls, table tennis and football table. Many peaceful places to chill and take in the beautiful gardens and surrounding vineyards. Homemade apple tart, pear jam and bottle of wine from the local vineyard welcomed us on our first day. Een fijne gîte met alle comfort, met een fantastisch zwembad, omgeven door een grote en mooie tuin. Heel rustig gelegen, tussen de wijngaarden. Een fantastische streek, dichtbij Bergerac en historische dorpen. Het kasteel van Monbazillac ligt vlakbij. Supervriendelijke en warme gastheer Serge en gastvrouw Béatrice die de privacy respecteren maar tot en met behulpzaam zijn. Dank voor de warme ontvangst, de onverwachte en lekkere proevertjes en de onvergetelijke soirée gourmande op het wijndomein. Zeker en vast tot ziens, Ronny, Danny, Nina, Ines en Ushi.
