"Great value for the area. Gustavo at the front desk is a star. Super helpful and courteous. We had two different rooms during our stay. The first didn’t have a/c but we were provided 3 fans which was fine. The second was a very large room with a/c overlooking the front courtyard. Oddly the window was not overly tinted so we had to have the drapes pulled the whole time. Breakfast service was good and the one meal we had in the evening was great. "If you are a backpacker this might be okay for you, but was bad for us. The rooms are extremely hot with no AC and a small fan that does nothing. Leon is the hottest city in the country, and also breakfast was not included in room price. Cannot recommend, although staff seemed friendly and location was good."

"First off, nobody speaks any English, so make sure your Spanish is good. The rooms, furniture and fixtures were highly used at best. There was only intermittent water made available for drinking and I had to go to the nearby hostel to fill my water bottle. Meal service was shaky and the staff seemed put out every time you asked for something. Though breakfast was included you have to ask for a voucher each morning from the receptionist who is never there. They also did not seem to offer any type...
