Casa Elba, rural charm in Peñalba de Santiago

Casa Elba is a typical Bercian mountain house, with stone, slate and wood masonry. It has been rehabilitated scrupulously respecting its exterior features and decorated with a traditional interior at the same time comfortable and functional, with all the necessary amenities for a memorable stay. It is a perfect space for up to six guests.

On the ground floor is the kitchen, the living area, a pantry room and a bathroom. The living room has a fireplace, as well as a pellet stove very easy to use and gives off the optimal heat to spend the colder months. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, oven, fridge, microwave and hob, as well as multiple cutlery utensils for cooking with total comfort. The first floor is accessed by an internal staircase, as well as by the exterior through the corridor, from where wonderful panoramic views of the Silence Valley and the summits of the Aquilian mountains are contemplated.

The first floor has a total of three rooms, all three are double rooms, two of them with double beds and the last one with two twin beds. Both bathrooms have large thermostatic showers, heating and towels available to guests.

El placer de la vida sencilla.

El pueblo es precioso. Una maravilla. El entorno lo mismo, los montes Aquilianos y la Tebaida Berciana. Hemos hecho muchas caminatas preciosas. Y la casa es muy muy bonita. Con todo lo necesario para una estancia muy cómoda de 6 personas. Todo bien preparado, hasta el último detalle y una restauración muy bonita. Una tranqulidad increíble, que era lo que buscábamos. Que gusto vivir y dormir sin ruidos de tráfico. Los dueños en todo momento atentos a nuestras necesidades, sobre todo Lucas. Tuvimos un problema con el coche y tuvimos que entrar un día después, y sin ningún problema. Repetimos seguro, pero seguro.

Alojamiento perfecto en un entorno incomparable.

Disfrutamos de una estancia de lo mas agradable. No falta absolutamente nada en la casa y todo está limpio y cuidado al detalle. La calefacción funcionó de maravilla y no echamos en falta absolutamente nada. Mirar por las ventanas y ver las montañas nevadas a muy poca distancia fue impagable.

Bonita sorpresa

Pueblo especial en un entorno mágico y en una casa muy bonita y perfectamente equipada. A la llegada nos atendieron lo mejor que pudieron los propietarios de la cantina a pesar de tener su local lleno. Al dia siguiente Paco ( el dueño de la cantina) nos brindó deliciosas historias del Bierzo. Los dos restaurantes del pueblo son absolutamente recomendables

Acogedora Elba

Bonita, cómoda, bien equipada... La casa Elba tiene un emplazamiento y unas vistas excepcionales. El trato con los propietarios ha sido excelente. Peñalba de Santiago y el Valle del Silencio te dejan sin palabras. El camino hasta allí es como un cuento de hadas: los castaños centenarios, las asambleas de los pájaros y las montañas cubiertas de retama y de brezo en la primavera son todo un espectáculo.

Espectacular

Volvemos encantados tras pasar un findesemana en Casa Elba. Desde el primer momento Gustavo fue muy amable y estuvo atento a todo. La casa esta genial decorada por dentro, la limpieza es óptima y cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estancia de lo más agradable. Del pueblo y su entorno nos habían hablado maravillas, y ha superado nuestras expectativas por mucho! Peñalba es un lugar verdaderamente único, con sus calles y casas de cuento, rutas para hacer senderismo, y la iglesia; toda una joya. Nos llevamos unas fotografías que parecen auténticas postales. Esperamos repetir otro findesemana o más tiempo, porque nos ha venido de lujo para desconectar, gracias por todo!

Fin de semana inmejorable

Pasar un fin de semana en Peñalba de Santiago ha sido estupendo, rodeados de un mágico entorno al que no nos van a faltar ganas de volver. Casa Elba cuenta con todo lo necesario para que la estancia haya sido inmejorable; bien equipada y acogedora, con una atención por parte de Gustavo excelente al igual que la limpieza de la misma. Pasear por los alrededores de Peñalba y compartir con sus vecinos anécdotas del pueblo ha sido sin duda muy enriquecedor, así mismo las rutas de senderismo que se extienden por la contorna son de una belleza admirable para el ojo, recomendable a todos los niveles para desconectar unos días. Nosotros sin dudarlo volveremos. Un saludo.

Una escapada única

Mi pareja y yo nos alojamos en Peñalba en una breve escapada invernal y ha sido una experiencia increíble en todos los sentidos. El lugar es mágico y el pueblo se encuentra en un estado de conservación asombroso. La casa, acogedora y con todo lo necesario para pasar unos fríos días de nieve con toda la comodidad y confort. Muy recomendable también la cantina del pueblo para comer y pasar un rato agradable. Un 10/10.

Magnificas vacaciones

Este año, por primera vez, decidimos venirnos a Peñalba de Santiago. Somos tres parejas, nosotros nos alojamos en otra casa de pueblo y el resto aquí. La experiencia fue inmejorable, en este caso: la casa, la atención de los propietarios y el pueblo hizo posible una estancia maravillosa. Se cumplieron nuestra expectativas, no hubo nada que pudiera amargarnos esos días. Lo recomiendo a todo el mundo. Nuevamente, muchísimas gracias.
