"We got there just after 6pm. The place was open but there is no reception, nor was anyone there to greet us and no phone number to call. Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. "Stayed here for just under three weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. Annick was a kind and courteous host who even provided a few goodies to get us started as we arrived late on a Sunday after most shops where closed. Rance itself is within walking distance but doesn't have much to offer. A car is pretty much essential to get around and explore the countryside.
