"The booking I had requested to be changed to 31 December was booked for 31 January and we had no accommodation for the evening of the 31 December. This I discovered when I informed the person who works for or owns the lodge on the 31st of December that we would see him that evening. I am still waiting for my refund as he then informed us he is fully booked so can no longer assist us. He also said it was my responsibility to check the invoice to make sure he had put the correct date on it even though in my message to him I clearly stated the 31st December."

"The rooms were very basic yet clean. The kitchen was equipped with enough for basic cooking and to make coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the house for much had an amazing view of the ocean. The views from the bedroom and living room windows were breathtaking. We were right on the beach. We could see the whales and dolphins every morning. Make sure to bring your binoculars! There are two pools but we did not swim as it was the end of September and not warm enough for us. The food was decent, staff a little slow but this is Africa and the ocean where most are very chill and laid back. "
