Lovely beachside home
My adult daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights - the home has a lovely view of the beach from the private balcony. Our beds were comfortable and the whole home is bright and cheery, and well located. I would stay again, and would recommend to others.

Fine for the price
The island is amazing! This rental is fine. The host was great and the location is good for exploring the island. Parking on the street next to this rental was never an issue for us. Nice to have a patio looking at the beach but it could use some upgrades like nicer furniture and a shade/rain cover. Kitchen was good but had some oddities like the only two frying pans did not work on the induction burners. The main negatives for us were the unbearable humidity in the bedrooms and the bathroom. I really have nothing good to say about the bathroom. The shower pan fills up with water quickly so you stand in dirty water, the toilet is 1 inch from the wall and very awkward to use, the lighting is awful and I had to duck to get in and out to avoid hitting my head. Again, the place is fine but I'd gladly pay double for some needed upgrades.

Great location and comfortable rental!
We loved the location and felt very comfortable during our stay! The listing as accurate and had all the amenities needed. Our only complaint would be the musty smell, which granted, this is beach rental - so some mustiness is to be expected.

The apartment was clean and tidy and we really enjoyed the view from the deck. We walked into Ponta delgada but really to see the island a car is required.

Just wow!!!
I stayed at this property for 4 days with both my kids aged 7 & 9. All i can say is wow! This house is fantastic! 2 large bedrooms, great kitchen, and fantastic location! Would definitely stay here again and would most certainly recommend to others!

Perfect location.
This house was perfect for what we needed. A place to stay while we toured around the island by car each day We stayed for 6 days. The view from the patio is gorgeous. The house is equipped very well with everything you need. There is a double bed in one bedroom and then a narrow single in the other. The living room also has a couch you can make up into a single or small double bed.

Great place and is just as advertised
Great property across from the gorgeous black sand beach. Huge kitchen that is well equipped. Great internet. Bathroom is small. Beautiful deck. Guests should absolutely have a car to visit here since it isn’t very close to restaurants and tours or sites. We enjoyed our stay!

Pluses: two lovely outdoor spaces (one a deck overlooking the sea), very well-equipped and attractive kitchen, close to the city, two closet spaces in the couple’s bedroom, on a one-way street, plenty of hooks everywhere, fun decor Cons: bathroom layout (toilet and sink ought to be swapped), hard bed for a 200-lb person with arthritic joints (and small chairs), street noise, odd stairs layout

We loved our time overlooking the Atlantic from our vacation Home.Loved sitting on the porch at suns
WE were 2 adults and 3 grandchildren. The bathroom was sometimes an issue being rather tight. The parking on the street was never an issue. We felt quite at home within a very short time. The boys knew their restrictions regarding the beach, street crossing etc. They had time to explore, help in the kitchen and do their daily choirs. The vacation home helped create lasting memories.

Great place on the best location !!
We have enjoyed our stay in this wonderful place. All amenities are available, even above expectations. Most professional booking provisions of Maria, clear information addition information available on request. Warmest welcome at arrival for easy check in even when owner is not direct available. Position direct to the beach gives a wonderful experince from the deck. Even you can have a look after the children from the sundeck when playing on the beach. Wonderful restaurants all available in the area. The information book will tell you all about it. Or in doubt.....just contact Maria as she will provide you with all info. Comfort of appartment is to high standard with a full equiped kitchen, 2 full bedrooms, a shower room and a living in 2 parts. The house is clean, beautiful, and in a great location!!
My husband and I came to Sao Miguel to celebrate our anniversary and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful experience here at this lovely beach house on Milicias beach! It is a perfect spot for an amazing romantic get away! I highly recommend this rental! It is steps from several beaches, restaurants, and cafés. After a long days hiking and sight seeing, it was very convenient to just walk outside and take a dip in the ocean! A Great Sao Miguel Beach House
Our family of four had a great stay at this beautiful little beach house. The view of the beach from the deck is fantastic,, it started our day with a cup of coffee and ended it with a cold beverage, there was even some live music to listen to on the weekend, from the great restaurant at the beach. The house is right across the street from the beach, but up a little rise so even the odd car passing by doesn't disturb the view. The kitchen is amazing, big and easy for multiple people to get stuff done. The bedrooms are spacious and the wifi works great...my two teenagers did not complain once all week. The living room is a little small without a lot of seating options but the kitchen and deck more than make up for it. Parking is on the street but we were always able to get a spot usually right at the door. If you are looking for a beach house near Ponta Delgada this place is perfect.

Was perfect. We loved the place. We were with 2 kids and it was great because the house was very well equipped. Excellent terrace with sea view and the location is really nice (you cross the street and you’re at the beach, several restaurants walking distance, cool neighbourhood)

Agréable séjour en bord de plage
Logement idéalement situé avec vue mer. En 2 minutes à pieds on est à la plage. En 5 minutes en voiture on se rend au centre de Ponta Delgada. La terrasse sur-élevée offre une vue agréable sur la mer. Avec ses hortensias, le joli patio en rez-de-chaussée permet de se poser à l'ombre. Ce logement vaste et lumineux à l'étage est très bien équipé, machine à laver, lave-vaisselle, four, micro-ondes, congélateur, parasols de plage, serviettes de toilettes à volonté et draps de plage. Seuls petits points qui nous ont dérangés, la fenêtre de la chambre très mal isolée donne sur une rue très passante et la circulation nous réveillait tôt le matin et enfin la salle de bain qui manque de lumière, de rangement et d'un petit coup de fraîchissement pour paraître plus propre et plus pratique. Cela dit, nous avons passé un agréable séjour au bord de la plage de Milicias.

Location très agréable, propre et bien équipée. Procédures d'arrivée et de départ très faciles, très bon contact avec le propriétaire. Le plus : le ménage compris en milieu de sejour pour les locations de plus d'une semaine. Le moins : chambre parentale donnant sur la rue et donc un peu bruyante. Emplacement idéal près de la plage et centré sur l'île facilitant l'accès à toutes les visites

Excelente localização ao pé da praia
A casa possui o essencial para a passagem de alguns dias mesmo ao lado de uma praia em S. Miguel. Dá para usufruir de um mergulho matinal... regressar a casa, passear por S. Miguel e voltar à praia ao fim do dia. Tem acesso à via rápida na rua traseira da casa. A marginal à frente possui controlo de velocidade por radar pelo que o trânsito nem se faz notar.

Perfekte Mischung aus Strand- und Wanderurlaub
Eine tolle Wohnung, um eine beeindruckende Insel zu erkunden! Wir haben einen erholsamen und abwechslungsreichen Urlaub auf Sao Miguel verbracht. Noch ein paar Details zur Wohnung: Pro - Lage direkt am Strand - Lage auf der Insel (so ziemlich alles ist in 40-50 Minuten per Auto zu erreichen) - schlichte, schicke, moderne Einrichtung - freundliche Vermieter mit schnellen Antworten - Sauberkeit (bei längerem Aufenthalt kommt einmal pro Woche die Putzfrau!) Contra - Lautstärke. Das eine Schlafzimmer liegt direkt unterhalb der kleinen Stichstraße, die morgens ab ca. 6 Uhr stark frequentiert ist. Die größere Straße parallel zum Strand war morgens und abends bis in die Nacht stark frequentiert. Vielleicht lag das an unserem Reisezeitraum (Hochsaison, Juli/August), evtl. ist ja in der Nebensaison weniger los. - Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht wirklich fußläufig zu erreichen.

Heerlijk huis vrijwel aan het strand
Een heerlijk ruim huis met twee verdiepingen en een terras met alleen een rustige weg naar het strand. In dit huis is alles aanwezig wat je maar kunt bedenken. Een minountje: waarom is de hoofdslaapkamer niet aangrenzend aan het beneden terras met deur, maar aan de wat meer lawaaierige straatkant?

Schön gelegenes Haus, nur durch die Strasse vom Strand getrennt, mit sehr guter Ausstattung
Wir waren von dem Service sehr angetan. Auch die Grundausstattung (Wasser, Milch, Wein, etc.) war spitze; gerade wenn man spät am Abend ankommt. Das Haus war sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Es war alles vorhanden, was man benötigt, einschl. Sonnenschirm und Liegestuhl. Die Zimmer waren freundlich. Das relativ kleine Badezimmer hat nicht gestört, da alles vorhanden.

Super schöne und gut ausgestattete Wohnung auf zwei Etagen. Perfekte Lage: gleich am Strand, zentral und doch nicht im Trubel, ruhig. Sehr freundliche Vermieter. Gute Restaurants in Fußnähe. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Appart super-équipé pratiquement à la plage
L'appartement est inteligemment arrangé et equipé avec absolument tout dont on pourrait avoir besoin. La terrasse offre une vue superbe sur la plage surveillée. Bars et restos dans les 100m. On y retournerait sans hésitation!

Das landestypische Haus ist in sehr guten Lage .Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet, besonders was die Ausstattung der Küche betrifft. (Wenn man im Urlaub viel kochen mag vom Vorteil , für uns jedoch nicht von Bedeutung ) .Beiden Schlafzimmer und das Badezimmer befinden sich im Keller. In diesem Bereich ist Feuchtigkeit an den Wänden, was das muffige Geruch verursacht.Leider trotz unternommenen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen haben wir in der Küche und im Schlafzimmer unerwünschte Mitbewohnern gehabt. Auf uns wartete ein tolles Begrüssungsgeschenk mit den landestypischen Lebensmitteln. Die Vermiterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Es wäre vom Vorteil ein Bild des Hauses auch von außen ins Internet zu setzten .

Numa estadia de 15 dias, até ao 11° dia as mensagens recebidas foram "Gut afternoon Maria, Thing you it is allways ok Peter" e " Hi Maria,wie enjoyed the Holiday very much on the beatutiful island .Peter". Sendo moradia e não vivenda, existem outras moradias, neste caso uma ao lado. Infelizmente ocorreu uma situação pontual que fugiu à normalidade e do nosso controle: a remodelação de um muro da casa do vizinho,no exterior, que dificultava a permanência no terraço da casa. Foi um imprevisto que nos deixou aborrecidos e pelo qual apresentamos várias vezes as nossas desculpas, apesar desta obra acontecer dentro de período legislado, pelo que não podíamos tomar nenhuma atitude contra. Antes de fazerem a reserva poderiam ter levantado algumas questões sobre as vossas expectativas e teriam a resposta sem omissões. Nunca devemos exigir mais do que temos capacidade de fazer!

Rundum zufrieden
Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Das Ferienhaus ist mit allem Notwendigen und vielen Extras ausgestattet. Die Lage ist mit Blick auf Strand und Meer, gutem Restaurant über die Straße und Busanbindung in die Stadt perfekt. Die Betreuung vor Ort war herzlich, die Vermieter waren immer ansprechbar, was aber in unserem Fall nicht notwendig war. Besonders nett war die Starterausstattung in der Küche mit Produkten von den Azoren. Wir werden Sie weiterempfehlen und bestimmt wiederkommen.

agréable séjour, trés belle maison proche de la plage,
Nous avons passé 10 jours sur l'île. Un séjour très agréable avec une maison confortable et même plus grande par rapport aux photos. Les habitants de l'île ont été aussi très sympathiques. Les paysages : magnifiques, des circuits de randonnées : un peu partout et surtout très bien balisés avec aussi des barbecues en pleine nature accompagnés de tables et bancs fortement appréciés. On se rend bien compte du travail effectué par ses habitants pour mettre en valeur leur terre, avec des routes très propres et bien entretenues. Merci encore à Maria pour son accueil et son panier de produits locaux à notre arrivée, des petites attentions qui font chaud au coeur et aux papilles. Laurent, Nathalie et leurs 2 enfants

Excelente Localização... Pena o cheiro a humidade
O local é aprazível, perto da praia e da cidade. A casa tem o essencial para se passar uma boa temporada de férias. O único problema, que me fez mudar para um hotel, é o intenso cheiro a humidade que tornou a nossa estadia impossível.

Fiquei decepcionada com a falta de frontalidade do meu hóspede em relação ao problema que denuncia sobre a minha casa casa. Pelas trocas de mensagens e conversa telefónica nunca referiu que houvesse algum factor negativo quanto à sua estadia. A pessoa que fez o check in e o check out também mostrou-se sempre disponível e nunca foi contactada pelo hóspede nesse sentido, referência esta que só foi feita no momento do check Out. Se fosse feito no próprio dia ou no dia seguinte teríamos resolvido o problema no momento, evitando gastos extraordinários.
