La Chêneraie

Nestled in the heart of the Landes, in Pontenx-les-Forges, La Chêneraie is an authentic Landes house dating from 1849, completely renovated with respect for its history. Surrounded by oaks and pines, it is located a few kilometres from Mimizan and the ocean.

Designed to accommodate up to 10 people, it offers five large rooms with character, all different, each with its own bathroom area: two with bathtub and three with walk-in shower. Beams, half-timbering, parquet floors, terracotta, period furniture, antique objects and family crockery have been carefully preserved and mixed with contemporary touches and modern comfort, to preserve the soul of the house while offering a pleasant stay in all seasons.

The living spaces naturally invite you to get together. More than 560 books are spread throughout the house, from the large library to the bedrooms: classic, contemporary and historical novels, French and foreign literature, travel stories, beautiful books, works of art or nature... a selection for all tastes, to be discovered during your stay.

Outside, a heated swimming pool of 8 × 4 metres fits naturally into the garden and offers a real space for relaxation.

La Chêneraie welcomes holidays with family or friends as well as professional stays, workers on the move, retreats, workshops or small group stays. A calm and warm place where you can meet, work, create or simply rest.

Between forest and ocean, La Chêneraie can be experienced all year round.
