"Good hotel and good location. They have a bar and restaurant on premises. There is someone there by the Front Desk twenty - four hours daily, so their nice little gym ought to be able to always be available to the guests, without closing at night ."

"A cherished favourite, especially for our 15th wedding anniversary We've been returning to this hotel for years, and it has never once disappointed us. The staff are consistently warm and attentive, breakfast is generous and delicious, and the pool area and amenities are beautifully maintained. The air conditioning is excellent — a real blessing in warmer months. This visit was especially special, as we were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary, and the hotel kindly surprised us with a bottle of cava to mark the occasion — a lovely touch that reflects the genuine care this team brings to guest experience. One small suggestion: I noticed the artificial turf around the pool, presumably installed during Spain's drought period. While I understand the water-saving intent, it gets uncomfortably hot underfoot when stepping out of the pool, retaining heat in a way real grass doesn't. It also feels slightly at odds with the hotel's elegant grounds, particularly the beautiful olive tree in the garden. Given the hotel's calibre, a return to natural grass — perhaps paired with drought-resistant landscaping — might be worth considering for both comfort and sustainability. A small detail, but one that would elevate an already wonderful experience. We look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries here."

"Amazing stay - staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Room and hotel areas spotless and clean. Great location right next to the beach, however about a 20 minute walk from the train station and old town area so a little more secluded. Breakfast was great, not tonnes of choice but quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again. Wonderful hotel!"

"Our weeklong stay at tot gaviota exceeded all expectations. The property is gorgeous and well maintained with all the amenities we needed. The views and comfort level of the apartment were superior. We spent many hours on the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean and we slept in the very comfortable beds with the doors wide open every night. The nearby beaches were beautiful and easy to walk to, and we were grateful that our fabulous host Ramon had provided beach chairs and umbrella. This is undoubtedly the very best VRBO stay I’ve been to, perfect 10! PS along with being very helpful with tips and advice, Ramon the host muscled a very heavy suitcase for us upon arrival and departure. Top notch human. Don’t hesitate on this one!"
