Top Poor Mountain Hotel Reviews
Hotel Floyd
10/10 Excellent
"All was great! It was a very pleasant stay."
Comfort Inn Martinsville
8/10 Good
"The hotel is a great place to stay very clean the whole 6 days I was there the fitness room was out of order also the women that works for housekeeping always have a attitude."
Blue Ridge Mountain Inn
8/10 Good
"A great value! Rooms were very clean, beds comfortable and staff/management were most welcoming and eager to assist. Meadows of Dan is a great little village in a truly beautiful part of VA on the Parkway. The accommodations are a bit spare, but we will definitely stay here again!"
Bankers Loft w/ Washer, Dryer King Size Bed Beautiful Space for a Beautiful Stay
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely space but on a road that one wouldn’t expect a lot of traffic but used by big trucks and motorcycles. The front room doesn’t have blinds so if anyone is going to sleep on the sofa bed, an eye mask and ear plugs recommended. That being said the bedrooms were great for sleeping- black out curtains and road noise was barely noticeable. The other piece of info folks should be aware of is the fairly short distance to Virginia Tech is a 40 minute drive mostly on small curvy mountain roads. Probably a blessing in disguise for this mama who was dropping off first born- no zipping back and forth, no “one last breakfast”. Another reviewer mentioned it being a good spot for attending Virginia tech graduation, and I can see that being reasonable for attending one event and at the point where one has already checked out the campus and town of Blacksburg enough over the years. So, the pros are a nice roomy space at a fraction of what the hotels in Blacksburg are charging on their peak weekends but the distance on these back roads is not great is you are going to want to zip back and forth to campus, particularly for night time events."
Econo Lodge Martinsville
8/10 Good
"Not well maintained trash bag sitting out all weekend"
Beautiful Sunsets & Amazing Stars in every season, Family-owned gem
10/10 Excellent
"I can't say enough good things about our week at Moo Meadows. It is everything and more as described. The covered back porch was our favorite place to be, whether it was having our coffee in the morning or a glass of wine watching the sunset in the evening. Thank you Tristi and Alex for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. Cant wait to come back."
Tuggle's Gap Roadside Inn - Blue Ridge Parkway
8/10 Good
"The check in process was different as in we had to call to check in. There is no front desk like most hotels. Now that I know that I would stay there again. Room was clean. A peaceful and friendly environment and very close access to the Blue Ridge Parkway."
Hampton Inn Martinsville
