  • Our RhönSchön holiday home is located below the Ebersburg castle ruins and is part of the health resort town of Poppenhausen (Wasserkuppe); it features two separate holiday apartments (Wachtküppel and Ebersburg)

    The holiday home offers you a beautiful view of the Hessian and Bavarian Rhön. From here, you have ideal opportunities for excursions to places such as Milseburg, Wasserkuppe, Guckaisee, and Kreuzberg Monastery…
    Day trips to nearby towns—such as the Baroque city of Fulda, the spa town of Bad Kissingen, or Bad Brückenau—are also highly recommended and easily accessible.

    Shopping options and local and international dining are just a 5-minute drive away.

    The “Wachtküppel” apartment is located in the basement, has a separate entrance, measures 60 square metres, and features a cosy living/dining room, a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Bed linens and towels are included in the price.

    In addition, the beautifully landscaped garden features a cosy terrace with barbecue facilities.

    A separate, lockable garage is available for bicycles you bring with you.

    A free parking space is available in front of the house for the apartment.

Very Nice apartment in very nice location

Apartment for 2 people, everything works, very clean and comfortable. The location near Ebersgurg Ruin is fantastic, great view and good starting point for nice walks in the area from the home. Nice garden with bbq and good view, some trees needs trimming. We will come back to this place.

Es war ankommen und wohlfühlen. Unser Hund hat sich im großen Garten auch wie zu Hause gefühlt. Ausstattung lies nichts zu wünschen übrig. Sollte unser Reiseziel noch einmal in diese Region führen, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder zu Ihnen. Vielen Dank.

Zum Wohlfühlen

Die Wohnung ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet und das Grundstück lädt mit viel Grün und Blick auf die Berge zum Verweilen ein. Egal ob man eher Sonne oder eher Schatten mag. Es gibt genügend Ausflugsziele für jeden Geschmack bei wenig Fahrstrecke. Wir kommen gerne bei Gelegenheit wieder. LG Fam Müller

Eine traumhafte Unterkunft

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und ein super netter und unkomplizierter Vermieter .Wir hatten eine nette Kommunikation, und auf unseren Hinweis, dass es noch an etwas Küchenausstattung fehle, fanden wir diese wenige Stunden vor unserer Tür wieder. Vielen Dank für alles, jederzeit wieder.

Eine Woche im Rabennest

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach nur wunderschön. Die Wohnung ist so liebevoll eingerichtet, wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt und kommen mit Sicherheit bald wieder. Ein herrlicher Rückzugsort, um zu entspannen und kreativ zu sein. Für uns eine grosse Bereicherung. Vielen Dank auch den lieben Vermietern, die unglaublich herzlich und freundlich waren.
