"Absolutely gorgeous property! Secluded, serene, and just a lovely atmosphere. Great sunsets overlooking the olive grove and sunrises over the mountains, a very romantic place. Be aware that the toilets are on the ground floor and the bedrooms on the second floor, in case anyone in your travel party has issues with stairs or using the restrooms at night. The house was also sparsely supplied (i.e. be prepared to bring your own toilet paper, soap, etc.). "

"Dopo un lungo viaggio in auto, giungere tra gli ulivi e le colline, al solo suono delle cicale, è stato come un film! El balcon è una villa strepitosa M., è stato una presenza discreta ma efficiente! Piscina pulitissima ed il sistema di condizionamento davvero al top! Una vacanza per la nostra famiglia con bambini e adolescenti super!"

"El alojamiento es muy bueno, cumple con las expectativas. La comunicación con los propietarios es muy buena y hay que destacar lo limpio que está el alojamiento. La finca está muy bien cuidada. Eso sí., NO RESERVEIS CON Vrbo!! La empresa deja mucho que desear. L Dimos con este alojamiento después de que nos anulasen otro y después de un mes todavía nos deben dinero (Vrbo, que no los propietarios del alojamiento). Múltiples llamadas a Vrbo donde lo único que responden es que ya lo mirarán... Pero...

"Wir hatten zwei tolle wochen in Alvaros schönem Haus bei Baena. Ein hübsches Städtchen mit netten Menschen und so gut wie keinem Tourismus. Alvaro und carmen waren extrem freundlich, immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Ohne die wunderbare Carmen hätten wir es nie geschafft unser kaputtes Auto reparieren zu lassen. . This hotel’s bathroom was so clean and well put together that I actually could not leave without taking a picture of it. The staff at Hotel Xauen was courteous and professional. "Lovely hotel and a good location Friendly staff and the areas and room were clean and it was very quiet The room was nice with aircon, the bathroom was spacious and had a lovely overhead shower but with only opaque glass separating it from the room, it may not be the choice with overly private couples….it wasn’t a problem for us but just wanted to put it out there The parking is offsite about a 10 minute walk away which is a public under cover car park but they have a deal that you only pay their rates not the car park rates We did have an issue in that the ticket they gave didn’t work so we ended up having to pay full price to get out of the car park but the hotel refunded us without any problem"

Our interest was a days bike ride on the Via Verde del Aciete and this place proved to be a perfect base for that. The bike rental place that the hotel works with is excellent."
