While Galatas may not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Poros Ferry Terminal and Poros Town Clock Tower.

The outside space was stunning at Hotel Pavlou. Decor and outlook was very picturesque. Can’t fault the studio. Perfect for an out of town getaway. Up the hill 4.6km but amazing sunrises. And down the other side to a remote beach. Modern rooms and good location near the town. The family room is on the 2nd floor which isn't ideal if you have a pram. Also, we found the mattress to be uncomfortable. A better quality mattress and a lift would make this place 10/10

Were there 31 yrs ago and loved it then. Been meaning to go back ever since. As expected it had changed, the port has grown, but it is still a small Island. Relaxing. More geared to older population and sailing fraternity.
