"Our cabin was a small basic cabin with a kitchenette. The grounds were maintained well and there were some trails to walk. The property was in a gated area and a little removed from the road but we still could hear the road at times. We found a roach in the bathroom and some tiny ants on the kitchen table when we first got in our room."

"Rustic lodges in the trees, small family run property (only 4 lodges). Lovely owners, breakfast brought to your lodge each morning - eggs, toast, jam & fruit. Fridge, kettle and coffee maker in room. Although it isn't far to Monteverde you would need a car."

"The location of this property is great, although we did struggle to find it as there are no signs from the main road! It us very handy for all the amenities of Santa Elena. The accommodation was more basic than we expected and we struggled a bit with this as the weather was so wet during our stay. Everything felt damp! That said, the beds were super comfy, we LOVED waking up surrounded by the trees every morning. Just magical! So very prepared for basic facilities, plan to eat out and enjoy the opportunity to be surrounded by nature."

"We stayed one night in July on our way through, and we would have loved an additional night or two. Such a beautiful property - comfortable room, delicious food, clean pool, helpful staff, and lots of wildlife around to enjoy! Our young kids loved the playground near the restaurant, too. I can't say enough good things about this place. I look forward to staying here again. The wildlife rescue next door was also a highlight - don't miss it!"

"This place was one of our favorites in Costa Rica. The views are breathtaking. The outdoor balcony with unique hammock, swing, and jacuzzi tub was our favorite place to enjoy morning coffee and their incredible breakfast! They provided cozy housecoats as well that keep you warm on the chilly mornings. Javier was amazing. So personable, thoughtful and kind. I loved all the small details put into the cabins and the cheery burst of color in the decor. The property is gorgeous and a great place to spend time :)"
