"An amazing property with fabulous hosts. We loved our stay here, the house is in a truly beautiful and convenient location. Peaceful and well appointed. Antonio and his lovely wife were super responsive. Can’t wait to go back."

"Beautiful property, nice and clean amazing views. The hosts parents went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Only draw back was the YourHouse agency was awful to deal with. They say they will call you right back you don't hear from them in 2 hours. Once they never called back at all. We were not given the proper address just a google maps link which led us to the wrong town. Owner of casa da corona. Get rid of the agency! They are bad for your place. Just rent through Airbnb. "We had a great stay at this accommodation. It is even better than the pictures.The jacuzzi hit the spot after canyoning and hiking to the Castelo de Castro Laboreiro. One thing to note, you will receive emails for payment and house rules and contract via email from the company that owns the property (not via VRBO). "We had a lovely stay ant the location is as expected in a great little part of the national park. The place is as in the pictures and whilst we didnt use the pool it looks fab and the hot tub was ideal. The local restaurant was very welcoming and the nearby old bridge could hsve been a scene out of Brigadoon..... fantastic. There are the useual few quirkes with staying in older remote towns but it shouldn't put you off as presumably if you are looking at staying here you will appreciate that...

"A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view. The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters. Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road. In all a very enjoyable stay"

Limited choice but very good Negative - high level of humidity in the room. - smell of humidity as well as mold - the mattress is really bad. Both of us ended up in the middle. Need to be changed asap - this was the most expensive hotel during our vacation and the worst one. "

"Beautiful secluded house in the mountains. Stunning pool surrounded by flowers and the forested hills. The house is chic in a vintage modernist style, something that the kind owners are clearly proud of and happy to share with guests. It was a good space for our party of 6 and happy times spent exploring the Parc de Geres with lakes and waterfalls. Air con worked very well when needed, the kitchen is well equipped and several spaces to sit for dining and around the house. The theme of a 'Zen" space is very appropriate; we all felt calm and peaceful in this lovely spot, and dropped down to the small town often ( especially to visit the extraordinary Hotel Universal like something from a 1950s film!)Just a note for any guests with mobility issues - the glorious pool is accessed by a steepish slope up the rear garden.A very happy vacation spent here. Thank you to Antonio and his wife."

"There were bedbugs in the bed i woke up with many bites all over my body it was terrible. The bathroom had mold and the matress and so hard i could barely sleep. Unfortunate because it seems like the place has a lot of potential if they did some work and a bit more effort for upkeep"
