"We truly enjoyed the amazing views from the deck and living room. The houseplants also gave it a nice and homey feeling. However, overall there were things that were missing in truly welcoming guests (us) into their vacation rental and it felt uncomfortable. Namely: only 1 of the 3 beds had a bed frame. "We liked the balcony and the view. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. There was sufficient parking. The staff were helpful and provided some recommendations for dining which were appreciated. We were surprised to learn the restaurant was under renovation but were happy with the other restaurants we found."

"The Pioneer Inn is an older property which appears from the outside to have seen better days. However the friendly new owners are upgrading the interior. Our room was spacious & the beds were lovely. The floors were redone with new flooring , bathrooms vanity. etc. The restaurant which is run by the hotel owners has delicious Asian food. I enjoyed the beautifully presented tempura."

"The house was very clean and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a wonderful abundance of houseplants. The view was truly fabulous, whether sunny or rainy; it was mesmerizing watching the fog roll through. The owner kindly shared tips and suggestions for the area. Some of the windows lacked screens and some furniture and appliances were on the older side, but everything worked well. Overall, a serene, cozy experience. We'd love to stay there again!"

"This place in Quatsino was absolutely amazing. The oceanfront location is breathtaking, and there’s something so peaceful about waking up to the water and taking in the beauty all around you. The space itself was cozy, welcoming, and the perfect place to unwind.We especially loved exploring the area — the hikes were beautiful, and the scenery everywhere you turn is just incredible. It’s one of those places that makes you slow down, breathe deeper, and really appreciate where you are.A perfect little getaway if you love the ocean, nature, and a cozy place to come back to at the end of the day. We truly loved our stay."
