"My partner and I had a great stay! The sauna was excellent — it gets very warm which is a must for us when going on vacation. The room was nice and welcoming and we were able to cook most of our meals in the outdoor kitchen. The only downside was that the kitchen was a bit chilly due to the weather and time of year. "The location is very central with easy walking access to restaurants and shops along the waterfront. Breakfast was not included so we went to nearby restaurants (which were very good). Checkin staff were friendly and very chatty. Motel is very convenient for day trips to Olympic National Park and the coast."

"There was no staff, but we were emailed a door code, which worked. The room was clean, had a hot shower and a fridge, and 2 beds. Elk were outside in the morning along with crows. It was quite close to the highway, but traffic is low at night and didn't wake me up. There are 4 back cabins that face the woods and might have less noise, but no view of the elk. It was well kept up and made us happy."

"I travel to Port Angeles about once a week for work and have stayed at quite a few hotels in the area. The Flagstone has definitely become my favorite. The rooms are always clean and well maintained, and I really like the warm flooring instead of carpet. The hot water is always HOT, which is great after a long day of work! What really stands out to me is the staff. The front desk staff are always friendly, kind, and welcoming. Great service makes a big difference when you stay somewhere regularly. I highly recommend the Flagstone. It’s my go-to place when I’m in Port Angeles, and I’ll definitely continue staying here."

"The room was clean. You're basically sharing a portion of Lin and Paul's house. They're very sweet and will try to come greet you when you arrive. They're very kind and helpful, so you can discuss your plans with them. When I arrived, they were preparing dinner, so they asked me to join in for a meal with their family. I also got treated to freshly picked apples and the best and juiciest plums I've ever had. I recommending planning a relaxed longer trip so you can enjoy the experience and can also maybe make new friends here! :) I definitely recommend staying here. If you have kids, they may enjoy exploring the land. The area is beautiful and safe, it serves as a good base camp for exploring Olympic National Park. If you plan a leisure trip, you can also explore a lot of hidden gems right in the area! They have only one room now but plan on expanding next year."
