Cute beach house in a wonderful location!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is a short walk to the beach through a yard that looks like an enchanted forest. Watching the sun set from the chairs by the beach was amazing. The location was perfect for day trips to explore Olympic National Park. We took the ferry out of Port Angeles to Victoria, Canada for a day trip. We have stayed at many VRBOs, and this is definitely one of our favorites. We would definitely stay here again if we get the chance! My kids did not want to leave!

Beautiful place

The home was cozy and comfortable. The beach is great for walking or just playing in the sand. The property is absolutely gorgeous, with big shade trees and a wonderful view of the strait.

Amazing few days

The photos really don’t do this place justice. You are literally 30 seconds from the back door to a stunning beach that was, at least during our stay, largely empty. Had a minor miscommunication re: pre-check in cleaning, but the host and cleaner were quick to mitigate. Would absolutely stay here again — just need to find an opening.

Comfortable spacious home on a beautiful beach

Perfect stay in a large, clean, well-equipped home tucked away in a quiet seaside neighborhood. Right on a fantastic beach where you could walk easily in both directions as well as enjoy the sounds of the waves and the views of Canada across the strait. Short drive into town. Great access to Olympic National Park including Crescent Lake and Hurricane Ridge. Would definitely stay again.

Breathtaking and serene

A perfect getaway on a sleepy street. The property is a short walk to the beach through the backyard. Windwarped trees offer a unique perspective and shelter from the rain. The beach is sandy in some spots, rocky in others with interesting driftwood littered about. The home has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely return.

Fantastic Beachfront Gem

This fantastic beach front home gave us the perfect place to watch the Aurora from the waterfront at night, hiking in the nearby national parks, and is in a stunningly beautiful slice of wooded coastline. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms gave five adults their privacy, while the well equipped kitchen gave us the space to cook.

Excellent Stay

We had never been to Washington State and tacked on a few days stay after a conference in the city. This rental did not disappoint! The location was amazing and we walked the beach many times. Port Angeles is a great little town close to the national park. We had the opportunity to hike, eat great food and rest in a peaceful house not far from the most amazing beach! The home was comfortable, neat, well kept and the beds were good. Thanks!

Truly lovely!

A very clean, so cozy, comfortable family home, just steps away from a super fun beach filled with rocks and driftwood--perfect for a beachcombing treasure hunt! All directions were clear. Overall a great place to stay in a beautiful setting--the trees are especially beautiful. And the home is filled with fun and creative driftwood art!

First time to the Pacific Northwest

Olympic National Park is now my FAVORITE National Park! So many different things to do so close to this VRBO. When u tire from exploring, enjoy the birds in the beautifully landscaped yard, watch the ships/boats/barges in the bay or just enjoy the sunset.

Amazing get-a-way

We decided that this is our favorite of all of the houses we have rented. It is so quiet with a very comfortable home and amazing views. We liked the fact that you look out across a yard and the twisted beach kind of trees then the beach and Vancouver Island. It is obviously not a "destination beach" as there is no public access so we assume that is part of why it is so quiet along with being on a dead end road. The owner is very nice and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend it!

Beach Cottage

This is not a luxury property but is very comfortable. Bathrooms are comparatively new and the kitchen has all the essentials altho the microwave is in the laundry room. Washer and dryer are old and could be replaced. There are few drawers or hanging space so where to put clothes is a problem. The private access to the beach is great. The quiet lane is ideal. 20 mins to the supermarket. We would definitely recommend this property if you want a quiet, simple holiday.

Great location for Olympic National Park and Port Angeles ferry

We loved being away from it all but also close to Port Angeles. Know that it will take you 20 minutes to get to the ferry or to the National Park Visitor’s Center but in exchange you get the sound of crashing waves to lull you to sleep. You can see surfers and occasionally seals in the water out back. When we arrived, there was an unpleasant smell. Nothing seemed dirty but the smell was so bad that we went and bought air fresheners and kept the windows open whenever we were at the house. Fortunately there are wonderful ocean breezes and we weren’t too hot even in August with no a/c. Check in and out was easy. The microwave is in the laundry room (but it worked just fine) and the door to the dryer seemed to be held on by tape (it got our clothes dry).

We felt this property had amazing access to the beach. It was extremely comfortable, met our expectations, accommodated our needs, and we really enjoyed the stay. Our only difficulty was accessing the property on the first day, but it was resolved. We would absolutely stay again.

Our party of 5 had a great time. The back yard was so whimsical and the beach was fun to walk on each morning. The kitchen was well equipped down to spices and even a sharpie (to label all the rocks we have collected) The only thing we missed was a fan in the bedrooms. We would definitely return to this home.
