My family has been doing long weekend trips for two years now, so I would say we have a pretty good idea of how the process works with vrbo and selecting homes for our family. This house was a complete and total dump. Do NOT believe the pictures or the other reviews. In the first 10 mins of arriving, my husband and I killed 6 very gnarly spiders. The room my 4 year old stayed in had a massive exposed wire coming out of the wall and there were massive amounts of dust and cobwebs in every single room of this house. The couch in the living room was old and not in the best shape, it was very uncomfortable to sit on, but since there was no available WiFi - we didn’t get to watch tv anyway. Don’t waste your money or believe the pictures. There is NO WAY this place was cleaned before we arrived.My husband and I wanted to leave immediately but after 2 1/2 hours of driving with a 4 and 2 year old- it just wasn’t possible. They were tired and hungry for dinner and sick of being in car seats. So we had to deal with one night in this house, but it was not pleasant, cozy or comfortable.The positive out of this horrible home was that the next morning we contacted customer service who accommodated us by finding my family a different place just 20 mins from where we were staying and the upgrade was amazing and didn’t cost us any more.
