Charming small house in a large garden, close to the Beach

The house was fully renovated in 2024 and is set in a large garden bordered by pine trees, just 500 meters from the beach. This is our third holiday rental project (ABRITEL references 1906869 and 1658648). It has been awarded a 3-star rating in the official furnished tourist accommodation classification.
Looking to relax? The house is located in a quiet area, and the 900 m² garden offers plenty of spots to enjoy a peaceful nap in a comfortable chair.
Looking for activities? Bikes can be rented at the harbor (we will provide the addresses). In Portbail, you will find a land sailing center, a sailing school, miles of beaches and coastal paths for walking or cycling, a riding center, and a golf course in the neighboring town of Barneville-Carteret.
A walking path and a bike lane will take you to the town center along the harbor if you prefer to leave the car behind. There, you’ll find all the essential shops as well as a great selection of restaurants, bars, and services.
The house is single-storey (just one small step at the entrance) and features a very bright living area with a comfortable lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining space, and one bedroom (140x190 cm bed) with direct access to a shower room and toilet.
The Japanese-style staircase visible from the living room leads to a small storage room that is not accessible to guests.
Beyond its own charm, Portbail is an ideal starting point for exploring the Manche region (the Cotentin and Bessin marshes, Mont Saint-Michel Bay, Granville, Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue and Tatihou Island, Carteret, Utah Beach, Sainte-Mère-Église, etc.).
You can also reach the Channel Islands (including Jersey) via regular ferry services departing from Carteret (about 7 km away) throughout the tourist season (please check with the Portbail-sur-Mer tourist office for schedules and requirements).

The bed will be made upon your arrival, and we provide a set of towels, a bath mat, and a kitchen towel.
